Starting out in the crime scene

Step
In short Thorough, unhurried exploration of the scene is the foundation of solving each chapter.

When you load in, your job is to move through the scene and collect every piece of information available. Clues are scattered around the environment, and characters can give you new dialogue options after you find certain things.

  1. Search every corner check walls, backgrounds, and out-of-the-way spots where clues are easy to miss.
  2. Talk to every character try speaking to each person more than once, because new response options can appear after earlier conversations.
03

Building the case: people, motives, and evidence

Tips
In short Tracking all three elements together is what leads you to the right answer.

Chapter 1 asks you to untangle who did what and why. Build a picture by comparing every character's account against the physical evidence you find.

Tips worth knowing
  • Talk to every character at least twice before drawing conclusions about guilt.
  • Think about how each item you pick up connects to the case rather than treating clues as collectibles.
  • If Chapter 1 offers different endings, try alternate choices on a second run to see how the story changes.
04

What to do when you are stuck

Check
In short Most dead ends come down to an unfinished conversation or an unexplored corner.

If the story stops moving and you are not sure why, run through this checklist.

  • Spoken to every character at least twice with no new options appearing.
  • Checked walls, corners, and background areas for overlooked clues.
  • Picked up any available items before returning to characters.
05
