Getting into your first race
Step
When you load into the game, you are shown the list of available cars. Pick one, then choose a track and a mode, and the race begins. You can check your current lap time at any point by pressing Q.
- Pick a car browse the full roster and select whichever car you want to drive.
- Choose a track over 20 circuits are available, so scroll through and pick one.
- Select a mode decide between Multiplayer Racing and Time Trial before you launch.
- Check your lap time press Q during the race to see your current lap time on screen.

Multiplayer Racing vs Time Trial
Table
Both modes run on the same tracks, but the experience is very different. Multiplayer Racing puts you on the grid with other drivers in real time, while Time Trial gives you the track to yourself.

Car categories and badges
Tips
The game groups its 80+ cars into distinct categories. Unlocking your first car in each category earns you a badge, so each category is its own milestone. Categories include GT4, GT3, Cup, DTM, LMDh, Classic, Safety Car, HyperCar, and Other.
- GT4 Car — unlocking your first GT4 car earns the Unlocked GT4 Car badge.
- GT3 Car — unlocking your first GT3 car earns the Unlocked GT3 Car badge.
- Cup Car — unlocking your first Cup car earns the Unlocked Cup Car badge.
- DTM Car — unlocking your first DTM car earns the Unlocked DTM Car badge.
- LMDh Car — unlocking your first LMDh car earns the Unlocked Lmdh Car badge.
- Classic Car — unlocking your first Classic car earns the Unlocked Classic Car badge.

Cash earned from racing is what you use to unlock new cars. The game offers a free cash boost if you take two quick steps.
- Join the official group to receive an in-game cash boost.

- Favourite the game so you can find it quickly each time you want to play.
Badges and what they tell you about your progress
Summary
There are ten badges in total. One is awarded just for playing, and the other nine each mark your first unlock in a specific car category.
