Basic controls while seated
Check
All controls only work while you are seated on a bike. Steering uses A and D, throttle and brake use W and S, and the game also gives you clutch and gear controls.
- F toggles the engine on and off.
- W opens the throttle; S brakes, or reverses when you are in neutral gear.
- A and D steer left and right.
- Q downshifts and E upshifts.
- Left Shift decouples the clutch.
- X flashes the hazard lights.

Clutch dump — the key drag-race trick
Step
A clutch dump happens when you release the clutch while already in gear and on the throttle at the same time. The bike surges forward hard.
- Start the engine press F so the engine is running.
- Select a gear tap E to shift up from neutral into first gear.
- Hold the clutch press and hold Left Shift to decouple it.
- Apply throttle hold W while the clutch is still held.
- Release the clutch let go of Left Shift and the bike launches with a sharp burst of acceleration.
Earning money on the map

- Simply riding around the map earns you money.
- If another player is your passenger, they earn money at the same time you do, from the same ride.

Racing at the drag strip
Step
The map contains a dedicated drag strip where you race other players in a straight-line acceleration contest.
- Find the drag strip on the map.
- Line up and prepare your launch get into first gear and hold the clutch before the start.
- Execute the clutch dump release Left Shift and hold W together at the start for a burst of acceleration.
- Shift up through the gears use E to upshift as the engine climbs through its range.
