Getting started
StepWhen you first join, work through the tutorial to learn how building, hiding, and moving all work. Once you understand the basics, talk with your teammates using the chat before you do anything else. Deciding who builds and who keeps watch is the single most useful thing you can do at the start.
- Complete the tutorial get comfortable with building, hiding, and moving before you face the guard.
- Open the chat agree on a plan with your teammates before anyone starts building.
- Split into roles assign a builder and a lookout so neither job gets ignored.
Building your escape efficiently
TipsThe guard patrols on a pattern, so watch where he goes and plan your build around those gaps. Because building leaves you exposed, at least one teammate should always be scanning for the guard while the rest construct.
- Keep a lookout posted — one teammate watches while the others build.
- Study the patrol pattern — once you know when and where the guard appears, you can build safely in between.
Joining the group before you play
CheckLiking the game and joining the official group rewards you with free vent panels and a bonus walk-speed increase. Do this before your first round so you start with everything available.
- Have you joined the official group yet vent panels and bonus walk-speed unlock when you do.
- Did you pick up the free vent panels check your building parts to confirm they are there.
- Is the walk-speed bonus active you should feel the difference compared to the default speed.
- Did joining cost anything it is completely free, so there is no reason to skip it.
Handling a caught teammate
WarnWhen the guard catches a teammate, the rest of the team can still save them using a revive facility built during the round. The game is not over until everyone is caught, so the remaining players need to move fast. Share the location of your revive facility with the whole team before anyone gets grabbed.
