The three roles and what they want
TableUp to eighteen players share one room, and the game assigns each of them a role at the start. Because the sides are directly opposed, understanding all three — even the ones you are not playing — helps you read what is happening around you.
| Security Guard | protect Engineers by finding and eliminating Arsonists on sight |
| Engineer | keep the reactor and its systems running for as long as possible |
| Arsonist | create as much chaos as possible and ultimately cause a reactor meltdown |

Glossary
Glossary- Reactor
- The central structure in the facility — Engineers keep it running, Arsonists work to destroy it.
- Interaction
- Any action an Engineer takes on the reactor or a connected system, which triggers a roughly twenty-second period of vulnerability.
- Vulnerable state
- The short window after an Engineer interacts with something during which an Arsonist can eliminate them.
- Meltdown
- The Arsonist's ultimate goal — pushing the reactor to catastrophic failure.
Common questions
FAQHow many players can be in one room?
A single room holds up to eighteen players.
Can an Engineer be killed at any time?
No — Engineers are invincible by default. The danger comes right after they interact with a system or panel, which makes them vulnerable for around twenty seconds.
What should I do if I see someone exploiting?
Capture a recording or screenshot of the behavior, then report it in the game's communications server.
Is the reactor design based on a real one?
The reactor is loosely modeled on the RBMK reactor design, but it is not a precise recreation. The game prioritizes style over strict realism.
