How a match works

Step

In short Every match runs the same loop: find your team color, locate enemy towers, attack with gear, and defend your own tower.

When you join a match you are placed on one of four teams — Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow. Your team color appears on screen, so check it before you do anything else. From there the goal is straightforward: destroy the Doomspire towers belonging to the other three teams while keeping yours standing.

Check your color look at the team color shown on your screen so you know which tower is yours to defend.
Spot the enemy towers scan the map for the three towers that belong to rival teams.
Pick your gear choose from the classic Roblox gear available at the start of the match.
Attack a tower use your chosen gear to deal damage to an enemy Doomspire.

Summary

A full lobby holds twelve players divided evenly among the four teams, which puts roughly three players on each side.

Unlike a simple one-vs-one game, Classic Doomspire Wars puts all four teams into the same arena simultaneously. Attacks can come from any direction.

You can receive attacks from two or three enemy teams at the same moment.
Keep track of where your teammates are so you can converge on a threat or cover your tower together.
Decide in the moment whether to push forward or fall back based on how many enemies are between you and your tower.
