Your first steps in the game
Step
In short
Getting your bearings before your first trade saves a lot of confusion later.
Before you approach anyone to trade, spend a few minutes learning what you already have. Open your inventory to see every dumpling you own and check the rarity on each one. Once you know what you're working with, you're ready to find a trading partner.
- Open your inventory look through every dumpling you own and note which ones have a higher rarity.
- Check rarities carefully two dumplings of the same type can have different rarity levels, so don't assume they're equal.

How a trade actually works

Every trade follows the same short sequence on the trading board, and both players must confirm before anything changes hands.
All trading happens on a dedicated trading board. You and your partner both need to be standing on it at the same time, then you each pick what you want to offer using the dropdown menu. Neither of you loses anything until you both press the checkmark button together.
- Find a trading board look for the spots where players are already gathering and step on one.
- Stand on it together both you and your partner need to be on the board at the same time for the trade menu to open.
- Select your items use the dropdown to choose which dumplings you want to put up for the trade.
- Press the checkmark at the same time both players must confirm simultaneously for the trade to go through.
- Use the plus button for more if you want to add extra items to the deal, press the plus button to keep negotiating before you both confirm.

Building your collection without spending

Patient, consistent trading is the main path to a full collection, and it costs nothing.
The game is built around trading, which means you can grow your collection entirely through swaps with other players.
Tips worth knowing
- Use the plus button to bundle multiple dumplings into one trade instead of making several separate trips to the board.
- There are currently eight working redeem codes tracked by this site — check the codes section of this page to grab free dumplings.

Glossary
Glossary- Trading Board
- The dedicated spot in the game where two players stand together to open the trade menu and exchange dumplings.
- Dropdown
- The menu that appears during a trade where each player selects which dumplings they want to offer.
- Rarity
- A measure of how hard a dumpling is to find; higher rarity means greater trade value.
- Inventory
- The screen that shows every dumpling you currently own, including each one's rarity.
- Checkmark button
- The confirmation button both players must press at the same time to complete a trade.
- X button
- The cancel button that stops a trade before it completes, leaving both players' inventories unchanged.
- Plus button
- The button you press during a trade to request additional items on top of what's already been selected.
Common questions
FAQCan you own more than one copy of the same dumpling?
Yes. If two copies of the same dumpling have different rarity levels, they count as separate items in your inventory. You can also hold multiple copies at the same rarity.
Once a trade is done, can your partner take the items back?
No. Once both players have pressed the checkmark and the trade goes through, the exchange is final. The dumplings you received are yours and cannot be reclaimed by the other player.
How do you find other players to trade with?
Other players show up around the trading boards. Step onto a board together to start a trade.
Do you have to collect every dumpling to enjoy the game?
Not at all. Trading itself is the core activity, so playing at whatever pace suits you is completely fine.
