+1 Speed Maze Guide: How the game works
About
OverviewEvery second you play, your speed goes up automatically — and your job is to navigate through a maze and reach the goal before things get out of control. Along the way you collect gold, upgrade your character's speed and stamina, raise pets, and compete in timed races.

How the game works
SummaryThe core loop is straightforward: run the maze, reach the goal, collect gold, and use that gold to upgrade your character and pets. Your movement speed increases automatically as time passes, which means hesitating or getting lost makes the run harder. Finishing the maze earns you gold every time, and that gold is the currency for every upgrade in the game.
- Speed rises automatically every second, whether you want it to or not
- Stamina determines how long you can keep running before slowing to a crawl
- Gold earned by finishing the maze; used for all upgrades
- Pets support companions you acquire and level up with gold
- Spirits special items earned through races, not from normal maze runs

First steps for new players
StepBefore spending anything, read the in-game tutorial and rule explanations so you understand how speed scaling works. Then start running the maze repeatedly — failing early runs is normal and still gets you closer to your first upgrades.
- Read the tutorial understand the speed mechanic before your first serious run
- Run the maze repeatedly each attempt earns gold
- Train your speed and stamina with the gold you collect
The Race event
CheckV17 introduced a Race feature that launches automatically every twenty minutes. Spirits — the reward you can only get from races — are separate from gold and go toward upgrades that normal runs cannot unlock.
- Races happen every twenty minutes automatically
- Earn spirits from races, which cannot be obtained through regular maze runs
- V17 added three new spirits, two of which come specifically from the Luoblox race

Common questions
FAQI can't finish the maze at all. What should I do?
Not finishing early runs is completely normal. Keep attempting the maze to accumulate gold, then put that gold into speed and stamina upgrades. Once your stats rise, the maze becomes noticeably easier to complete.
Do I need to spend real money to progress?
No — gold from finishing maze runs is enough to upgrade both your character and your pets. Every stage and upgrade is reachable without spending real money.
Is it worth joining every race?
Races are the only way to earn spirits, which are upgrade materials you cannot get from normal runs.
How do I get a pet?
Save up gold until you meet the in-game requirements. Once you have a pet, you can continue spending gold to level it up.
