About

Overview

Spuddy's (Anomaly) puts you to work at Spuddy's Family Diner, where you seat customers, take orders, and serve food — but strange things keep happening on the floor. This guide covers the basic shift loop, how to handle each type of anomaly, and how to chase every badge the game offers.

The basic shift loop

Step
In short Every shift follows the same four-step cycle, and finishing it cleanly is your main goal.

Each time you start a shift, customers come through the door and expect full service from arrival to departure.

  1. Seat the customer guide each arriving customer to an open table.
  2. Take the order approach the seated customer and find out what they want.
  3. Prepare the food send the order to the kitchen and wait for it to be ready.
  4. Serve and see them out carry the finished dish to the table and handle the customer until they leave.

Three anomaly types and how to handle them

Table
In short Each anomaly has its own response, so knowing which one you are looking at is half the battle.

Anomalies come in three distinct forms during a shift. Spotting them early and responding correctly is what separates a clean shift from a bad-review disaster.

Mimicgrab a bat and hit it to deal with this customer impostor.
Table Monsterfeed it food to stop the anomaly at that table.
Secret Menua customer at an unusual location needs to be served there, not at a normal table.
03

Protecting your reviews

Warn
In short Bad reviews are the main thing standing between you and the Flawless badge, so every anomaly you ignore is a risk you cannot afford.

Customer reviews reflect how well you handled both normal service and anything strange that happened during the shift. The Flawless badge requires you to reach shift 20 without a single bad review.

Worth watching out for
Do not ignore an anomaly once you notice it deal with it on the spot.
If a customer is caught up in an anomaly, rescue them before moving on to anything else.
Keep the Flawless goal in mind from your very first shift, not just once you are close to shift 20.
04

Badge progression by shift count

Table
In short A badge unlocks every five shifts up to shift 50, so every single run counts toward something.

Complete the shift count in the left column to earn the badge on the right.

Badges that need more than just showing up

Check
In short Four badges require specific actions during a shift, so keep them in mind while you play rather than trying to hunt them down separately.

These badges will not come naturally just by completing shifts — you need to do something deliberate to trigger each one.

  • Time to Fight Back hit a mimic with a bat at least once.
  • Yummy feed the Table Monster during a shift where one appears.
  • Secret Menu successfully serve a customer at the secret menu location.
  • Savior rescue a customer who is being affected by an anomaly.
  • Flawless reach shift 20 without ever receiving a bad review.
  • Teamwork reach shift 20 in a session with three or more players in the same game.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play alone?

Solo play works for the vast majority of the game, and you can earn almost every badge on your own. The one exception is the Teamwork badge, which requires you to reach shift 20 in a session with at least three players total.

How do I get the Flawless badge?

You need to complete 20 shifts without receiving a single bad review across all of them. Respond to every anomaly the moment you spot it and always rescue customers who are in danger.

What do I do when I see a mimic?

Pick up a bat and hit the mimic with it.
