Getting started in Roleplay Mode
StepWhen you join a server you enter Roleplay Mode, where you take control of a Trevor Henderson cryptid and move freely around the map. Badges are found by interacting with specific objects scattered across the map. Two locations were added to the Teleport Menu in the current update.
- Check new teleport destinations two locations were added in the current update, so visit ones you have not been to before.
- Look in corners and edges several hidden objects are tucked away in the corners of the map.
- Earn badges finding objects and meeting certain conditions rewards you with badges, and many of those badges unlock new characters.

Hidden objects and where to look
TipsSome badges come from simply noticing something in the environment.
- The Forgotten Memories badge is hiding in a corner of the map.
- For Day17, find a calendar somewhere in the map and look at the seventeenth day.
- Breaking News requires you to find an old television tucked into a corner of the map.
Badges that unlock characters
TableEach of these badges has a character reward attached to it. Earn the badge and the character becomes available to play.

Badges that need more than one player
CheckGetting launched into the sky while morphed as a giant character at spawn is what triggers The Tentacles Of The Sky.
- Make sure at least one other player is in your server.
- Spawn in as a giant character.
Unobtainable event badges
WarnHalloween 2025 was given to players who played during the 2025 Halloween event, and Christmas 2025 was awarded to those who played during the 2025 Christmas event. Both are now marked unobtainable.

- A mysterious creature character you can control in Roleplay Mode, inspired by Trevor Henderson's horror artwork.
- Roleplay Mode
- The main game mode where you morph into a cryptid and move freely around the shared map.
- Teleport Menu
- An in-game menu that instantly moves your character to specific locations on the map.
- Unobtainable
- A label on certain badges meaning they were tied to a past event and can no longer be earned.
- Giant character
- A large cryptid form required to attempt The Tentacles Of The Sky badge.
Common questions
FAQHow do I unlock new characters?
Earning badges is the main way to expand your character list. For example, the Odd Chimney... badge adds Chimney Head, and Eternal Nightmares adds Nightmare Siren Head.
What does the binary badge name mean?
The badge whose name and description are written entirely in binary is a puzzle built into the game. To read what it says, paste the binary string into any binary-to-text converter.
Does sprinting work for all characters?
The sprint feature added in the current update is for human characters.
