About

Overview

Courtside Volleyball is a fast-paced 2D volleyball game where up to 16 players compete on the same court in real time. Timing and ball-reading matter more than anything else, and a last-second save can flip the whole match.

How the game works

Summary
In short Every point comes down to reading the ball and returning it before it hits your floor.

The ball moves fast, and if it lands on your side of the court the other team scores. Rallies keep going until someone drops the ball, which means even a desperate late touch keeps you alive.

  • Goal get the ball to land on the opponent's floor
  • Loss condition ball lands on your own side
  • Court size up to 16 players share the same game at once

Controls to learn first

Step
In short Learn pass and toss on the ground before you try anything in the air.

Your available moves change depending on whether you are standing or airborne, and the game shows them at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Pass on the ground, press LMB (left-click) and get comfortable with the timing
  2. Toss press R to angle it right or F to angle it left
  3. Spike jump first, then press LMB in the air to drive the ball into the opponent's court
  4. Advanced moves once the basics are solid, try slide, block, feint, and jump-toss one at a time
  5. Screen labels LMB means left-click and RMB means right-click whenever the game shows PC prompts

Reading the match

Tips
In short Staying calm and watching the ball the whole time gives you more chances to score than rushing does.

Good decisions happen when you slow down and track what is actually in front of you rather than reacting in panic.

Tips worth knowing
  • Keep your eyes on the ball continuously
  • Watch how opponents are positioned so you can predict where they will send the ball next
  • When a high ball comes at you, focus on receiving it cleanly before you think about attacking
  • After a clean receive, look for the right moment to spike rather than forcing it immediately
  • When opponents are rushing or off-balance, a careful return is harder for them to handle
  • The match is not over early — a last-second save can still turn into the winning point
05

Starting out without getting overwhelmed

Check
In short A few focused early sessions will get your timing to a point where rallies feel natural.

Your first few matches should be about getting used to the ball speed and your character's reaction window.

  • Watch the ball's speed in your first rally
  • Check where opponents are standing so you can find a safe position on your side
  • Notice the feeling when you successfully return a ball that rhythm is what you are building toward
  • If you see an error message on screen, adjust just that one timing before changing anything else

Rewards through liking and the group

Tips
In short Joining the official group and engaging with the game page are the ways the game distributes rewards.

The game offers rewards tied to a few simple actions on the Roblox page itself.

  • Join the official Roblox group to receive in-game rewards
  • Liking the game on its Roblox page also makes you eligible for rewards
  • Favoriting the game is another action the reward system recognizes
  • The group is where new update information gets posted

Common questions

FAQ

How many players can be in one match?

Up to 16 players compete on a single court at the same time.

What does 'Too Early Pass!' on my screen mean?

It means your input came in before the right timing window. It does not automatically cost you a point — keep tracking the ball and set up for the next attempt.

What is the fastest way to get better at the controls?

Work through pass, toss, and spike in that order, getting each one consistent before adding the next.
