KILLSTREAK is an arcade first-person shooter built around fast movement and gunplay. This guide covers how to get started, how your weapons work, how to push your killstreak higher, and what to work toward over time.
In shortYour first goal is to earn kills, level up, and open Weapon Loot Boxes so you can expand your weapon options.
Every time you spawn, you get four weapons automatically. Three of them are random, but the fourth slot — your Killstreak Weapon — is one you control. When you join for the very first time, Ham Sandwich is placed there by default. To replace it with something better, you need to unlock new weapons by leveling up. You also earn in-game cash that you can spend to purchase weapons directly.

In shortChaining kills with your Killstreak Weapon makes it stronger mid-match.
Your Killstreak Weapon starts at its default tier every match, but it gets stronger as you rack up kills with it without dying. There are three upgrade tiers above the default.

In shortIf your Killstreak Weapon is a consumable, hold off on using it until you have reached Tier 3.
Utility weapons cover a wide range of effects — some deal damage, some help you move, and some are consumables that disappear the moment you activate them. Once you use a consumable Killstreak Weapon, it is gone, and your tier does not increase any further.
Worth watching out for
Using a consumable Killstreak Weapon before Tier 3 permanently caps your tier for that streak.
Ham Sandwich (Default rarity) is auto-equipped your first time in the game.
Krystal-rarity utility weapons such as Gravity Grenade cannot be found in Loot Boxesthey require Krystals to obtain.
05
Weapon rarity and how to unlock better gear
Tips
In shortLoot Boxes cover most rarities, but Krystal-tier weapons need a separate currency entirely.
Default weapons are available from the start. Krystal-rarity weapons sit outside the Loot Box system and require Krystals to purchase.
Tips worth knowing
Loot Boxes drop from leveling up.
You can also spend in-game cash to buy weapons directly.
Once a weapon is unlocked, you can set it as your Killstreak Weapon from your inventory.
Gems are a separate collectible in the game — grabbing your first one earns you the War Diamond badge.
06
Long-term goals: killstreaks and trophies
Check
In shortBoth killstreak badges and trophy milestones reward consistent play over many sessions.
Two parallel systems give you things to chase beyond individual matches. Killstreak badges reward you for going on a streak of a specific length without dying — the chain goes from 2 kills all the way up to 25. Trophy badges track your all-time cumulative total, starting at 1 and climbing to 10,000.
Killstreak badges exist for streaks of 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 consecutive kills without dying.
Trophy milestones are tracked across your entire account1, 10, 20, 100, 200, 1,000, 2,000, and 10,000 total.
Trophy count never resets, so every match still moves you toward the next milestone.
A run of consecutive kills earned without dying; longer streaks unlock higher weapon tiers and badge rewards.
Killstreak Weapon
The fourth weapon slot that you choose yourself from weapons you have unlocked.
Tier upgrade
A mid-match strengthening of your Killstreak Weapon that happens as you chain kills with it, up to a maximum of Tier 3.
Weapon Loot Box
A box earned by leveling up that unlocks a new weapon when opened.
Krystals
A currency used to obtain Krystal-rarity weapons, which cannot be found in Loot Boxes.
Consumable
A utility weapon that disappears permanently after you activate it, stopping any further tier progress on that streak.
Trophy
A cumulative account-wide score that climbs over many matches and unlocks badges at set milestones.
Common questions
FAQ
What weapons do I get when I first spawn?
You spawn with four weapons: three are assigned randomly, and the fourth slot holds your Killstreak Weapon. On your very first join, Ham Sandwich is automatically placed in that fourth slot.
How do I unlock new Killstreak Weapons?
Level up by playing matches and earning kills — each new level gives you a Weapon Loot Box to open. You can also spend in-game cash to purchase weapons directly, and Krystal-rarity weapons require Krystals.
When should I use a consumable utility weapon?
Wait until your Killstreak Weapon has reached Tier 3 before activating a consumable. Using it earlier locks your tier at whatever level you were on, so you miss out on the stronger upgrades.
Do trophy counts reset between sessions?
No. Trophies accumulate across your entire account history, so every match you play adds to the total. Badge milestones like 100 or 1,000 trophies are lifetime achievements, not per-session targets.
