Escaping the baboon

Tips
In short Sliding and knowing the map layout are the two things that keep you alive.

The baboon is the main threat in the game. When it gets close, a fast reaction is the difference between getting away and getting caught. Learning the layout of whichever map you are on gives you an edge because you will already know where the exits and hiding spots are.

Tips worth knowing
  • The moment you sense danger, use your platform's slide button to put distance between yourself and the baboon.
  • Explore each map early so you already know the hiding spots before you need them.
03

Collecting and spending coins

Step
In short Coins are found during exploration and spent in the shop, but buying anything is completely optional.

Coins are scattered through the game world for you to pick up as you explore. Once you have some, you can take them to the shop and buy items or cosmetics. Nothing in the shop is required to progress, so spend on whatever appeals to you.

  1. Explore the map keep an eye out for coins as you move through each area.
  2. Purchases are optional and won't block any part of the game.
04

The maps

Summary
In short Each map has a distinct look and feel, so switching between them keeps the game fresh.

The game currently has five maps, each built around a different setting and atmosphere. More maps are planned for future updates.

  • Hallsway a corridor-based area
  • Lab an interior space styled like a research facility
  • Caves a dark underground environment
  • Backrooms an unsettling area themed around hidden, liminal spaces
  • Arcade a setting modelled after a game centre
05

Rules and fair play

Warn
In short Cheating carries penalties as serious as a permanent ban, so it is never worth the risk.

The game explicitly prohibits cheating and exploiting. Penalties range from a 30-day suspension up to a permanent ban. If you find a bug, the right move is to report it through the official group rather than take advantage of it.

Worth watching out for
Cheating or exploiting in any form is banned and will result in a suspension of 30 days or a permanent ban.
Use the official group to report bugs or submit suggestions to the developers.
