Claiming your plot and starting your income

Step
In short Grabbing a free plot and immediately chaining button purchases is the fastest way to grow your donuts-per-second in the early game.

When you first load in, Springfield has several empty plots waiting to be claimed. Walk up to one and take it to start your tycoon. From that point on, every button you buy raises the number of donuts you earn each second, so spending your donuts on the next button as soon as you have enough is the core loop of the whole game.

  1. Claim a plot find any unclaimed land in Springfield and take it.
  2. Buy buttons to boost your income and grow your Springfield empire faster.
  3. Like the game and join the official group doing both nets you 100 bonus starting donuts.
  4. Your tycoon progress is autosaved, so you can log off at any time and pick up exactly where you left.

Unlocking Simpsons characters

Tips
In short Every character unlock is tied to upgrading your tycoon, so sustained investment in buttons and upgrades is what brings the cast to life.

As you pour donuts into upgrades, the familiar faces of Springfield become playable one by one. Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa, Maggie, Krusty, Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Chief Wiggum, Moe, Milhouse, and Apu all have corresponding badges that unlock as your tycoon progresses.

Tips worth knowing
  • Upgrading your tycoon unlocks characters including Homer, Bart, Lisa, and more.
  • Each character you unlock also earns you a badge, so the badge list doubles as a checklist of your upgrade progress.
03

Defending your tycoon from other players

Check
In short Unlocking your gear and gadgets means you are ready for the up-to-four-player sessions.

Each server holds up to four players at once, which means other builders can interfere with your tycoon. Gear and gadgets are the tools the game gives you to push back.

  • Unlock gears and gadgets to defend your house from other players.
  • Both gear and gadgets need to be unlocked they are separate unlockables.
04

Reaching full completion

Tips
In short Both special items require you to collect every unlockable in the game, so treat the character badges and the full gear set as a single long checklist.

The game has two distinct completion milestones, each tied to a badge and a special item. Hitting them means collecting absolutely everything the game offers.

Tips worth knowing
  • Crowned by Lard Lad — collect every piece of gear and claim the Gold Lard Lad trophy.
  • Mmm... Completion — finish the entire collection of unlockable items.
  • Completing both milestones rewards you with two special items.
05

Seasonal and shop treats

Tips
In short Buying treats from the in-game shop is its own activity that can earn you friendship badges alongside your main tycoon progress.

Beyond the core income loop there are treat-based interactions in the game. Buying a treat earns you the Santa's Snack Buddy badge, and giving a treat earns the Snowball V's Snack Buddy badge.

Tips worth knowing
  • Buy a treat to unlock Santa's Snack Buddy.
  • Give a treat to unlock Snowball V's Snack Buddy.
