How the game works
Step
When you join, your first job is to find cups out in the field. Each cup you collect can be used to get a troll. Once you have a troll, you use it to fight enemies and other players.
- Join the game you earn the Welcome badge automatically on your first visit.
- Search the field look for cups like the Oil Cup and Blood Cup.
- Use the cup drinking a cup gives you a troll you can fight with.
- Fight enemies take your troll into combat against other players in the server.
Cups in the game
Tips
There are several cups in the game. The badge descriptions give some indication of what each contains.
- Oil Cup is one of the cups you can find in the field.
- Blood Cup is described as something you can drink or use to get even better.
- Cup of Darkness is described as containing 'alright' trolls.
- Cup of Enlightment contains 'pretty good' trolls.
- Cup of Alternative Realities, Cup of Origins, Twilight Essence, Synthetic Cup, and Divine Essence are further cups or essence badges in the game.
- Cup of Honor is tied to unlocking The Butcher.
Unlocking The Butcher
Check
The Butcher is unlocked by earning the Cup of Honor badge. That badge has one specific requirement, and a couple of things will block you from completing it if you are not prepared.
- Private servers do not count the badge cannot be earned there.
- Reach a 10-kill killstreak with Eye Eater or Eye Eater Blinged.
- Once you have the Cup of Honor badge, apply it to a normal Eye Eater to receive The Butcher.

- A chain of kills; a streak of 10 with Eye Eater is required to unlock The Butcher.

- A troll unlocked by reaching a 10-kill killstreak with Eye Eater or Eye Eater Blinged and then applying the Cup of Honor to a normal Eye Eater.
- Private server
- A separate server instance; killstreaks earned there do not count toward the Cup of Honor badge.

No. The badge description states that this cannot be done in private servers.
What is the Woah Essanscee badge, and should I go for it?
The badge's own description repeatedly warns you not to drink it, not to buy it, and to stop.
What happens if I miss a limited-time event badge?
The Christmas Event 2025 badge rewarded the UPCOMING SNOW tag and was available during the 2025 holiday period. Happy New Years! is earned by playing on January 1st.
