How the core game works
Step
When a round starts, a word appears on screen. Your job is to type a new English word that begins with the last letter of that word. For example, if the word is 'Poodle', you need a word starting with 'E'. A correct answer passes the turn to the next player, and the chain keeps going. As the game runs longer, the difficulty increases.
- Read the last letter find the final letter of the current word before you do anything else.
- Type your word submit it before the timer hits zero or you are knocked out.
- Avoid repeats any word already used this round will get you knocked out immediately.
- Survive the round once everyone has answered, the next round begins and the challenge steps up.

- Play repeatedly so that tough letters stop feeling surprising and your response time drops.
- Pay attention to what other players type, especially words you did not think of yourself.
- When you are in spectator mode after being knocked out, treat it as a free vocabulary lesson for your next game.

Glossary
Glossary- Knockout
- What happens when you run out of time or repeat a used word — you leave the active game and enter spectator mode.
- Round
- One full cycle where every active player takes a turn; difficulty goes up when a new round begins.
- Pet ability
- A special power attached to a pet that you can activate during the game to help you through a difficult spot.
- Repeat word
- Any word already used in the current round — typing one counts as a failure and knocks you out.
- Timer
- The countdown each player faces on their turn; you must submit a valid word before it hits zero.
- Starting word
