First steps when you join
StepWhen you first load in, you spawn as a parent. You can switch to a baby through the dress-up menu, which matters a lot for earning Bucks. The Nursery is the natural first stop — it is where the tutorial points you and where you pick up your first egg.
- Head to the Nursery look for the tutorial marker near the centre of the map to find it quickly.
- Talk to Sir Woofington he gives you a free Starter Egg that is guaranteed to hatch a dog or cat.
- Complete pet tasks to hatch it satisfy your pet's needs like hunger and bathing to fill the progress bar.
- Open the dress-up menu switch your role to Baby so your own needs generate Bucks alongside your pet's needs.
- Collect your Daily Reward log in every 15 hours to keep the streak going and build toward bigger prizes.
- Open the Guide tab on the right side of the screen it replaced the old tutorial and gives you rewards for completing one-time achievements.
Earning Bucks faster
TipsBucks come in whenever you satisfy a need — your own as a Baby, a Baby you are caring for as a Parent, or a pet's need. Playing as a Baby with a pet equipped means two sets of needs trigger at once. Orange objectives are time-limited but pay out more than standard ones.
- Switch to Baby in the dress-up menu before you start grinding.
- Keep a pet equipped at all times so that pet tasks and your own tasks run in parallel.
- Handle standard needs: hunger and thirst can be solved with food items or a pet feeder, and sleep works in the School or your house.
- For the Dirty task, use a shower or bathtub in your house, or the showers at the Campsite when you receive the Camping objective.
- For the Sick task, visit the Hospital and speak to Doctor Heart, eat a Healing Apple, or use an operation bed.
- Watch for orange objectives like Camping, Pizza Party, and Salon — they require you to go to a specific location and stay for a certain amount of time, but reward more Bucks than standard tasks.
- When a purple question-mark circle appears, tap it to pick your pet's next task from three options.
Eggs and pet rarity
TableEvery pet in the game hatches from an egg. Permanent eggs sit in the Nursery at all times, while themed eggs sold through the Nursery's gumball machine rotate out after a few months and can only be obtained through trading once they leave. Rarity runs five levels: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra-Rare, and Legendary — and higher-rarity pets require more tasks to reach Full Grown.
| Themed Egg (gumball machine) | limited-time only, unavailable after rotation ends except through trading. |
| Golden Egg / Diamond Egg | earned through the Daily Reward star system, not purchasable with Bucks. |
Daily Reward and the star system
SummaryThe Daily Reward unlocks every 15 hours. If you claim it early, the timer resets to 1 day and 15 hours; if you wait, you can claim again within 15 hours. Logging in every fifth day gives you a larger Bucks payout. Stars accumulate toward rewards including a Golden Egg at 660 stars — or a Diamond Egg if you have already claimed a Golden Egg at least once.
- Claim window every 15 hours, or wait for the standard window to avoid the extended reset.
- Fifth-day bonus larger Bucks amount plus Stars.
- 660-star milestone Golden Egg, or Diamond Egg for players who already have one.
Growing pets toward Neon and Mega Neon
StepPets grow by completing tasks. Once a pet reaches Full Grown, it becomes a building block for something better. Four Full Grown pets of the same species can be combined into a glowing Neon pet at the Neon Cave. Four Neon pets of the same species combine into a Mega Neon, which shifts through multiple colours.
- Complete pet tasks consistently walk, catch, ride, pet, potty, hungry, and thirsty tasks all contribute to growth.
- Keep duplicates every extra copy of a pet is a future Neon ingredient, so don't release them casually.
- Use a Pet Pen keeping pets in a Pet Pen at your house lets them progress gradually.
- Bring four Full Grown copies to the Neon Cave the game combines them into one Neon pet there.
- Repeat with four Neons four Neon pets of the same kind combine into a Mega Neon at the same cave.
Trading safely
WarnTrading lets you exchange pets and items with other players, with up to 18 items per trade. To trade Ultra-Rare or Legendary items, you must first pass the Trade License test at the Safety Hub. The Safety Hub also lets you access the Trade Book to review trade history and learn about avoiding scams.
The Guide achievement system
CheckThe Guide launched on December 16, 2025, and replaced the tutorial given to new players. It gives you Bucks and items for completing achievements that can only be done once each. Achievements are split into four categories: Pets, Explore, House, and Trading Hub. Some achievements in each category are locked until you finish earlier ones.
- Open the Guide tab on the right side of the screen.
- Check all four categories Pets, Explore, House, and Trading Hub.
- Look for locked achievements some only unlock after you finish earlier ones in the same category.
- Remember achievements are non-repeatable, so each reward can only be claimed once per account.

Common questions
FAQWhat should I do if a code isn't working?
First check that every character is correct — codes are case-sensitive, so copying and pasting is safer than typing manually. If the code still fails, it has either expired or you have already used it on that account, since each code works only once per player.
How do orange objectives work compared to normal ones?
Orange objectives require you to go to a specific location and stay there for a certain amount of time. They are only available for a limited period, but they pay out more Bucks than standard objectives.
When should I buy a themed egg from the gumball machine?
Buy it while it is still on sale. Themed eggs rotate out of the gumball machine after a few months, and once they are gone the only way to get them is through player trading.
How many items can I trade at once?
You can include up to 18 items in a single trade. The game sends you chat notifications whenever the other player makes a change to the trade, so check those before you confirm.
