First steps when you load in

Step

In short Finding the Towers button and choosing your first key type is all you need to do before climbing begins.

Everything starts on the right side of your screen, where a single button gets you into the action. Once you know how it works, switching between towers and key types takes only a few seconds.

Put on headphones the whole point of the game is the sound, and headphones let you hear it properly.
Find the Towers button it sits on the right side of your screen and opens the tower-selection menu.

Checkpoints and getting unstuck

In short Checkpoints remove the sting of falling, so there is no reason to stress when you miss a jump.

As you climb, you pass through checkpoints scattered through each tower. The moment you touch one, it becomes your respawn spot. If you fall or get stuck anywhere above it, you can teleport straight back to that checkpoint instead of starting over from the bottom.

Use the teleport-to-checkpoint option the instant a section is giving you trouble.
Switch to a different tower if you want a break from the same obstacle layout.

Glossary

Tower: A self-contained obstacle course you select from the Towers menu on the right side of your screen.
Key Type: One of the sound themes you can assign to a tower, such as Wax Butter or Glass, each producing a different ASMR sound as you climb.
Checkpoint: A save point inside a tower; once you touch one, you can teleport back to it any time instead of restarting from the bottom.
Teleport: The instant-travel feature that sends you to your last checkpoint whenever you want.
ASMR: A relaxation technique based on gentle, satisfying sounds — in this game, the sounds of different keyboard key textures.

Teleport back to your last checkpoint and try again at your own pace. If the frustration is building up, switch to a different tower for a while.
