Step
The moment you join, a stampede is already running. Your job is to leap onto a dinosaur's back, stay on, and reach the finish. Once you win that first race, you tame the dinosaur and earn the First Tame badge. After that, work through the lesson to unlock your pen, your Dino Machine, and a starting herd.

Tips
Grip determines how long you can hold on during a stampede. The Dino Machine on your ranch is the tool for building it up. Cash, meanwhile, comes from riding the dinosaurs you have already tamed and housed in your pens.
- Use the Dino Machine regularly to raise your grip — higher grip means faster dinos can no longer throw you.
- Place tamed dinosaurs in your ranch pens so they earn cash while you ride.
- Upgrade your pens to increase the rate at which cash comes in.
Pushing through the nine eras
Step
The game has nine eras to ride through, including Plains, Desert, Jungle, Snow, and Volcano. You move forward by riding stampedes all the way through each area. The Forest and the Bone Badlands are two notable milestones along the way.
- Reach the Forest keep riding stampedes and the era will shift; arriving there is its own milestone.
- Push on to the Bone Badlands this is the next major target after the Forest.
- Keep going there are nine eras in total, each with its own dino types and pace.
Building your dinosaur collection
Tips
There are more than 50 species to collect, ranging from Common all the way up to Divine. You tame them by winning races during stampedes. Some species are Secret Dinos that only appear occasionally, so you have to stay alert during every run.

- Watch for Secret Dinos during every run — they appear rarely, and missing one means waiting for the next chance.
