01

First steps on day one

Step
In short Get your shelter up before night falls — everything else follows from that.

You start with nothing in a forest full of zombies. Daytime is your window to move freely and prepare, so use it. Once you have enough materials, put up a shelter so you have somewhere safe when night comes.

  1. Head into the forest explore the area around your starting point and pick up any loot and materials you find.
  2. Build a shelter use the materials you collected to put up a shelter before it gets dark.
  3. Learn the controls press Shift to sprint and C to crouch.
  4. Get inside once night is approaching, move into your shelter and prepare to hold out until dawn.

Keeping your turret and generator running

Tips
In short Both the auto turret and the generator need to be topped up before each night, not during it.

Your auto turret and power generator both run on consumable items that you drag directly onto them.

Tips worth knowing
  • Drag Rifle Ammo onto the auto turret to reload it.
  • Drag a Power Fuse onto the generator to fuel it.
03

Survival milestones worth chasing

Summary
In short Work through the night-survival milestones in order, with helicopter escape as the final goal.

The game marks your progress through a series of survival targets, and the final victory condition is escaping by helicopter.

  • 5 Nights survived first milestone badge to aim for on Normal
  • 10 Nights survived second badge on Normal
  • 20 Nights survived mid-range badge on Normal
  • 40 Nights survived the hardest long-run badge on Normal
  • Helicopter escape the true win condition; completing it earns your first victory badge
04

Things that will get you banned

Warn
In short Cheating and bug abuse risk a ban, so report problems instead of exploiting them.

The game is in Early Alpha, so bugs exist. How you respond to them matters.

Worth watching out for
Abusing a bug to gain an advantage can result in a ban from the game.
If you find a bug, report it to the developer as feedback rather than exploiting it.

You win by escaping on the helicopter. Successfully doing so earns you the first-win badge.

Why won't my generator start?

The generator needs a Power Fuse dragged onto it to run.

What should I do if I find a bug?

Do not use it to your advantage — that can result in a ban. Instead, pass the information to the developer as feedback.
