How a round works
StepBefore the car moves, you pick your roles, your vehicle, and your stage. The driver operates the car with no forward view at all — only the co-driver's voice tells them what the road is doing. Complete the course before time runs out and you are done.
- Decide roles one player takes the wheel, the other takes the co-driver seat.
- Pick a car seven cars are available to choose from.
- Pick a stage five courses are on the menu, so agree on one before you start.
- Drive on calls alone the driver steers and adjusts speed based entirely on what the co-driver says.
- Reach the finish get to the end of the course within the time limit.
What each stage environment does to your run
TableThe five stages are spread across three types of terrain, and conditions like rain and mud can change the way the car handles mid-run.
| Cherry-blossom road | good visibility and daylight. |
| Snowy pass | slippery surface means speed control becomes more critical. |
| Rain or mud | grip drops and the co-driver has less time to deliver each call before the moment passes. |
Calling the road — tips for the co-driver
TipsThere is a gap between the driver hearing your call and the car actually changing direction, so every instruction needs to arrive before the moment it describes. The co-driver is the only set of eyes the team has.
- Describe the bend before it arrives, not as the car reaches it.
- Name both the direction and the sharpness of every turn.
- When the surface changes to rain, mud, or snow, say so immediately so the driver can ease off.
- On straight sections, say so — a short confirmation tells the driver they can relax for a moment.
Medal mode vs. race mode
TableTwo distinct ways to play exist side by side.
| Medal mode | collect medals by passing through time gates on the course, running at your own pace without direct competition. |
| Race mode | up to eight players start together and compete for position in real time. |
| Solo play | a friend's avatar joins as an AI co-driver, so you can still experience either role on your own. |
