NEW SEASON + INCUBATOR v2
🎃 Soon 🎃
Grow a Chicken Fighter is an idle battle game where you hatch eggs, collect rare chickens, and send them into the PIT to earn cash. You fuse chickens together to create mutated fighters, climb a boss tower, and eventually rebirth to grow faster than before. This guide walks you through getting started, building a steady income loop, managing your flock, and knowing when to rebirth.
When you first load in, follow the on-screen arrows and prompts to complete the tutorial. It walks you through hatching, fusing, and your first fight. Some buttons are locked until the tutorial is done, so do not try to skip around. Once it finishes, open the code entry screen from the menu or settings and redeem any codes you have — codes expire and each one can only be used once per account. Then place your first chicken in the coop so it starts laying eggs straight away.
The next survey is being prepared.
Two income sources run in parallel early on: scrap collection and PIT fights. Scrap spawns in the central area; carry it back to your recycler to turn it into cash. Do not carry too much at once or your movement slows down, so make short back-and-forth trips. When the central area is crowded, switch to a lower-population server so scrap is easier to grab. Meanwhile, keep your best chicken fighting in the PIT. Spend what you earn on the food station when you need more fighting power, or on the recycler when cash flow is the bottleneck. Before you log off, always collect the eggs and rewards waiting in the coop so nothing is wasted.

🎃 Soon 🎃
Every chicken in your flock fits one of three jobs. Mixing them up — especially selling your last egg-layer by accident — can force you to restart an entire egg line. Use the favourite or lock feature on any chicken you cannot afford to lose. Check the egg list and chicken list inside the game for current hatch rates before you make decisions, because those numbers change with updates.
| Fighter | your top attackers sent to the PIT and the Tower to earn cash and clear bosses |
| Layer | the chicken producing the next egg you need; always keep at least one |
| Fusion material | a chicken whose special ability or trait you want to pass on through fusion |
| Sell candidates | only duplicates with no role in your egg route and weak stats |
Fusion combines two chickens into one mutated fighter, but the chicken on the material side is consumed permanently. There is no undo. Before you hit confirm, run through this checklist on the fusion screen. Lock any ability or trait you want to carry over — unlocked traits are not guaranteed to transfer. If the preview does not match what you wanted, back out before confirming. Wait until you have a spare layer before fusing your only one; running out of layers blocks your entire egg route.
The PIT and the Tower serve different purposes. In the PIT you pick opponents your chicken can beat consistently, so cash flows in without interruption. The Tower tests your fighters floor by floor against enemies and bosses, and clearing it is tied to rebirth conditions. When you hit a wall in the Tower, retreat and farm the PIT for cash, upgrade the food station, or fuse before trying again. Repeatedly challenging the same floor in the same state rarely works.
| PIT | steady cash income; send your strongest chicken and reinvest the earnings |
| Tower | progression check and rebirth requirement; retreat and upgrade when you are stuck |
| Special abilities | check whether your chicken's anime ability is unlocked before blaming your stats for a Tower loss |
Rebirth resets some of your progress in exchange for permanent bonuses to cash, corn, and egg production speed, as well as a higher level cap. The exact Tower floor requirement and bonus values change with updates and with each rebirth you do, so always read the rebirth menu on the right side of the screen. Your chickens stay in your flock after rebirth, but your cash, player level, and facility progress reset. Do not hit the button the moment it unlocks — spend your cash on hatching and fusing first.
Codes give you free resources and are especially useful at the start of a run. Open the code entry field from the menu or the settings screen, type the code exactly, and claim the reward. Each code works only once on your account and can expire at any time. The game's official group and announcements are where new codes are posted.

Grow a Chicken Fighter
Yes. Chickens in the coop keep laying eggs while you are logged out. When you come back, check the coop and any egg storage to collect what built up.
Everything core to the game — scrap collection, PIT fights, offline egg laying, codes, fusion, the Tower, and rebirth — is free. Paid options mainly speed things up or automate tasks.
Stop attempting the same floor repeatedly and go back to the PIT instead. Earn cash, upgrade the food station, check whether your chicken's special ability is unlocked, and consider fusing for a stronger fighter. Once your chicken is meaningfully stronger, return to the Tower and try again.
A sold chicken cannot be recovered. You will need to work back through the egg route from the beginning to rebuild that line. Going forward, use the favourite or lock feature on any chicken whose egg line you are actively developing so an accidental tap cannot remove it.
The game adds new chickens and eggs and adjusts rates through updates. Any number printed in a guide can be out of date within days of a patch. Always treat the egg list and chicken list inside the game as the accurate current source.
Your cash, player level, and facility progress reset. The chickens stored in your flock list survive. Spend any cash you have on hatching or fusing before confirming the rebirth so nothing goes to waste.
