Before you place a single tower, join the official game group — it increases the cash you start each game with. Once you're in a match, spend a few moments figuring out how to place and upgrade towers before the enemy pressure builds. Watch where enemies come from and take note of the paths they use.

Boss encounters are the hardest tests the game throws at you, and clearing them marks real progress in your rank.
As waves progress they eventually pit you against named bosses — Plague Doctor, Eradicator, and several stronger variants including Eradicator MK II and MK IV. Wave 50 brings Eradicator MK IV, wave 60 introduces Eradicator MK I C, and wave 70 is where Apex Predator appears. Rank climbs from 10 through to 150, with rank 100 considered entry to the high-level game and rank 150 the point where the game labels you a General.
