The core loop: dig, hatch, feed, ride

Step

In short Everything in the game flows from finding an egg and raising it all the way to adulthood.

The main cycle repeats every time you want a new dinosaur.

Find a mound head out into the field and dig into one of the mounds scattered around to uncover a dinosaur egg.
Bring it to the Hatching Grounds carry the egg over to the Hatching Grounds and place it there to start the hatching process.
Feed the baby once it hatches, keep feeding your baby dinosaur until it grows into an adult.
Ride and harvest a fully grown dinosaur can be ridden, and you can use it to harvest resources.
Build your camp build and expand a camp where you and your dinosaurs live.

Badge milestones worth chasing

There are 25 badges in total. Earning enough of them unlocks new badge displays at five, ten, 25, 50, and 100 badges. T-Rex has the most badge tiers of any dinosaur, covering both how many you hatch and how many you raise to adulthood.

Two events have run so far: Easter 2026 and Summer Camp 2026. Each brings its own currency, a vendor to spend it at, and exclusive dinosaur colors tied to badge challenges.

Tips worth knowing

In the Summer Camp 2026 event, collecting ten Smores earns you a badge.
Spending 300 Smores at the event vendor unlocks a second badge, and spending 1,000 Smores unlocks a third.
Finding and raising a Tie Dye T-Rex gives you a Summer Camp badge; raising two Tie Dye Stegos gives another.
The Easter 2026 event rewarded players for collecting 25 Jelly Beans from hatching eggs and for raising a Flower Bronto.
During the birthday celebration, a special Galli egg can be found in all mound types, and a Festival Vendor offers limited-time recipes.

Expanding inventory and barn slots

In short Joining the developer group and having Roblox Premium each add five inventory slots and five barn slots, and you can stack both bonuses.

More inventory room means you can carry more eggs from the field, and more barn slots means more adult dinosaurs stored at once.

Join the Emerald Activities group on Roblox to receive plus five inventory slots and plus five barn slots.
If you have Roblox Premium, you get another plus five inventory slots and plus five barn slots on top of that.
Both bonuses stack, so a Premium member who also joins the group gets the full double increase.
Group members also get access to forums for trading, reporting bugs, and reading game information.

Hatching Grounds: The area where you bring eggs to hatch them into baby dinosaurs.
Mound: A raised patch of ground you dig into to find dinosaur eggs.
Barn slot: One of the spaces where you can store a grown dinosaur.
