Multicrew Tank Combat — The four crew roles
About
OverviewMulticrew Tank Combat puts multiple players inside a single tank, each handling a different job — commander, gunner, driver, or loader. This guide covers how to fill each role, how to work as a crew, how infantry fits into the fight, and how to unlock special vehicles through the game's badge challenges.

The four crew roles
TableEach seat in a tank has a specific job, and the crew only functions well when everyone does theirs. Splitting duties this way means no single player is overwhelmed, but it also means the team falls apart if someone goes quiet or ignores their role.
| Commander | controls the turret and calls out orders for the whole crew |
| Gunner | aims at enemies and fires; accuracy is the main requirement |
| Driver | handles all movement: forward, reverse, and turning |
| Loader | reloads the gun and handles resupply so the gunner can keep shooting |
Getting your crew together and moving out
StepThe game lets you recruit crew members or match with online players before a match begins.
- Assemble a crew invite friends or match with online players until you have enough for the roles you want to fill
- Pick a tank choose from the vehicles available to your team
- Assign roles decide who takes commander, gunner, driver, and loader based on how many people you have
Infantry roles on the battlefield
TipsInfantry have 100 HP with a slow regeneration, meaning even small arms fire can kill in one or two hits and explosives are nearly always fatal. The trade-off is that a well-placed infantry player can deal real damage to vehicles. Use terrain, stay hidden, and always work alongside teammates.
- Stay hidden — the best way to survive is to never be spotted in the first place; use foliage, buildings, and terrain
- Use appropriate uniforms from the locker to blend into the environment
- Light anti-tank players should keep distance from enemy tanks and fire from concealment rather than up close
- Heavy anti-tank engineers should place emplaced weapons near foliage or inside buildings to hide them from enemy optics
- Combat engineers can repair damaged friendly tanks on or near the front line, keeping the team's vehicles in the fight
- Riding in the back of an APC or IFV gets you to the fight safely and gives friendly vehicles an infantry escort

Common questions
FAQCan I play without a full crew of friends?
Yes — the game lets you match with online players to fill out your crew. You can still take on the commander, gunner, driver, or loader role alongside strangers.
Do badge vehicle unlocks work in VIP servers?
No. Every badge that unlocks a vehicle explicitly requires a public server match. Attempting the challenge in a VIP server will not award the badge no matter how well you perform.
How does infantry survive against tanks?
Infantry have only 100 HP and take massive damage from explosives and machine gun fire, so staying hidden is the main survival tool. Use cover, fire from concealment, and travel with friendly vehicles whenever possible rather than crossing open ground alone.
Why is the VK 16.02 badge listed but unobtainable?
That badge can no longer be earned. It remains visible so that players who completed the tutorial in the old version of the game can still show it in the new one — it is a legacy badge only.
