Town Hall upgrades
Tips
In short
Leveling up your Town Hall raises your overall defense ceiling, which is what lets you survive the later waves.
The Town Hall is a central upgrade building that improves your town's defensive strength. Upgrading it lets you handle higher wave numbers, including the boss waves.
A stronger Town Hall lets you reach and survive boss waves. Boss enemies appear on the higher waves and are tougher than regular balloons.

Staying alive through harder waves

Waves get harder the further you go, and there is no shame in repeating a wave to farm money before moving forward.
Spreading your upgrades across turrets, crates, and the Town Hall gives you the best chance of surviving the waves where bosses appear.
Replay a wave to earn more money before moving forward.
If balloons reach the town, its health drops.

Common questions FAQ
What happens when a balloon reaches my town?
Your town loses health every time a balloon gets through.
What should I do if I run out of money?
Replay the wave you are on. Popping balloons on a wave you can already handle lets you build up cash for your next round of upgrades.
How do I beat a boss?
Make sure both your turrets and crates are upgraded before you reach a boss wave. The Town Hall should also be leveled up.
