The basic loop: train, race, repeat
Step
When you first load in, your priority is the training mode. Power is the main stat that decides how you perform in races, so you want to raise it before you challenge anyone. Once your power feels solid, enter a race — then return to training whenever you hit a wall and start losing.

How to use codes
CheckCodes are handed out to celebrate milestones like likes and player counts. Each code only works once per account. The code entry box is inside the in-game menu, and new codes are announced through in-game notifications. As of September 30, 2026, this site tracks thirteen working codes for the game.
- Find the code entry box inside the in-game menu.
- Enter every code you have as soon as possible some have expiry dates.
- Check in-game notifications regularly so you do not miss a new code drop.
- Remember that each code can only be used once on your account.
- New codes are promised when the game hits 300,000 likes, so watch for that announcement.

Winning more races
Tips
Races are decided largely by how much power you have going in. Entering races repeatedly builds familiarity with how they flow. Some pets have abilities that help during a race.
- Keep entering races even when you lose — the experience itself raises your win rate over time.
- Use pets that have race-useful abilities when you have the option.
Collecting pets and reaching new areas

Collecting pets is one of the main side goals in Kayak Racing. You can work on pet collection at the same time as training and racing. Everything in the pet system is available to free players.
