Preparing for combat
CheckBoth player-versus-player fights and AI enemy encounters reward you with loot, but only if you win. Running a quick check before you engage keeps you from throwing away progress.
- Robot is crafted and its strengths are understood before picking a target.
- Hideout is positioned somewhere defensible, not out in the open.
- Layout of the hideout makes it hard for enemies to rush straight in.
- An escape route exists so you can pull back when a fight turns against you.
Getting more out of trading
TipsWith up to 30 players in a server, there is almost always someone who has what you want and needs what you have.
- Look for players who are holding items you need rather than searching the map for them yourself.
- Offer items you have in excess — a deal where both sides get something useful goes through faster.
- Repeated trades with the same players build trust, which makes future exchanges smoother.
- Use trading to get robot parts you cannot craft yourself from your current scavenged stock.
Growing your hideout over time
TipsYour hideout can be designed and upgraded however you like.
- Improve your hideout in stages rather than trying to finish everything at once.
- Arrange structures so enemies cannot walk straight in — awkward layouts slow attackers down.
- A well-built hideout can protect you even when your robot is not particularly powerful.

Common questions
FAQHow many players can be in one server?
A single server holds up to 30 players at once.
How do I make a robot?
Explore the map, pick up items, and then use the crafting system to combine them into robot components.
Do I have to build a hideout?
Without a hideout you have no place to fall back to when enemies attack. If you focus mainly on fighting or trading, the hideout is less urgent, but it still helps to have one eventually.
