About

Overview

Naramo Nuclear Plant is a Roblox action roleplay game where you choose a side: run the reactor as a nuclear technician, defend the facility as security, or raid it as an attacker. This guide covers how to operate the reactor safely, how to earn XP efficiently, and how to fight whether you are defending or assaulting.

Three roles and what each one does

Table
In short Pick your role before you join a team, because each one plays completely differently.

The game splits players into two opposing sides. The defending side has two roles: nuclear technicians who keep the reactor running, and security forces who protect the facility from attackers. The attacking side — West Noobian forces and their allies — tries to break in and destroy the reactor. Three of the four attacking teams require a paid gamepass, so free players have fewer options on that side.

DOE (nuclear technician)operates the reactor and earns XP through power orders
SECFOR (security)patrols the facility and repels raiders
WN / BFO (raiders)infiltrates the plant and attempts to destroy the reactor
Free playerscan access the core game but have limited raider team choices without gamepasses

Reactor controls every technician must know

Check
In short Keeping the feedwater valve on and the control rods at 55% is the foundation of a stable shift.

All reactor management happens in the control room. The control rods are your main way to adjust temperature: lower them to slow the reaction and cool down, raise them to heat up. The feedwater valve must stay open at all times — closing it is one of the most dangerous mistakes you can make. Coolant pumps must also stay on; if they go offline, lower the rods immediately and radio plant maintenance.

  • Control rods at 55% when fuel is 75% or above this is the most stable setting
  • Feedwater valve always open never switch it off under any circumstances
  • Coolant pumps always running treat a shutdown as an emergency
  • Main notification panel checked regularly it flags coolant and feedwater faults
  • Relief valves kept closed during normal operation save them for genuine emergencies
  • Grid terminal accessible by holding E use number keys to switch grids
03

Handling a temperature spike or meltdown

Step
In short When temperature rises fast, your two immediate actions are pushing rods to 100% and opening all four relief valves at once.

A meltdown earns you the Unforeseen Consequences badge, but surviving the emergency earns you the SCRAM Qualification badge instead. Relief valves can all be opened simultaneously — you do not need to open them one at a time. Together they drop around 300 K over a 10-second cycle, but each valve then sits on a 90-second cooldown, so do not waste them when everything is stable.

  1. Lower control rods to 100% this gives maximum cooling at minus 9 K per second and halts the chain reaction as fast as possible
  2. Open all four relief valves at once stacking them drops temperature by roughly 300 K per cycle
  3. Check the coolant valve if it was accidentally closed, reopen it immediately
  4. Check the main notification panel confirm whether coolant pumps or feedwater have failed, and radio maintenance if they have

Earning XP and reaching Plant Director

Tips
In short Completing power orders during weekend double-XP sessions is the fastest path to Plant Director.

Power orders are the main source of XP for everyone on the facility staff. The quality of your shift matters: reaching Tier 3 on a shift earns the Perfect Shift badge. Accumulate enough experience and you are promoted to Plant Director, which unlocks the Top of the Chain badge. Weekends run a double-XP bonus.

Tips worth knowing
  • Focus on completing power orders — they are the biggest XP source during a shift
  • Aim for a Tier 3 shift rating
  • Play during weekends — the double-XP bonus applies

Raider entry routes into the facility

Table
In short Minefield Vents is almost always the fastest and least-defended way into the plant.

When leaving the WN camp there are five routes to choose from. Minefield Vents bypasses the checkpoint and the main road entirely, putting you in Outer Vents with far less resistance.

Logistics Bypassalmost always unguarded, leads to Inner Vents on foot
Checkpointrequires attacking from the hills on both sides; take out the Recoilless Rifle gunner first
Auxiliary Gatecan bypass the wall by parking an M52 APC against it and climbing over
Subway Ventsslowest option and drops you far from key targets; only useful for very specific plays

Taking down the RCV-1

Warn
In short You must land three anti-tank hits on the RCV-1 before its 7-minute-30-second cooldown expires, or it respawns immediately.

The RCV-1 is the strongest vehicle the defending team can field. The only reliable method is an ambush: hide in bushes and land three anti-tank hits. Once destroyed, the vehicle cannot be replaced for 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

Worth watching out for
Three anti-tank hits destroy it
Use bush cover for the ambush
Kill it before the 7-minute-30-second cooldown ends after that it respawns instantly

Seasonal badges

Summary
In short Seasonal badges are awarded just for playing during their event window.

Two limited badges were tied to specific seasons: Nuclear Candy for playing during the 2025 Halloween season and Nuclear Winter for playing during the 2025 Winter season. Both were awarded for participating in a shift during their respective windows.

  • Nuclear Candy awarded for a shift during the 2025 Halloween season
  • Nuclear Winter awarded for a shift during the 2025 Winter season
  • Not great, not terrible earned by maxing out your Geiger counter reading

Glossary

Glossary
DOE
Department of Energy — the team of nuclear technicians whose job is to operate and protect the reactor.
SECFOR
The security force that defends the facility against raiding teams.
WN
West Noobian assault forces, one of the raider factions trying to destroy the reactor.
BFO
A Bloxian ally faction that supports the WN attackers; requires a gamepass to play.
Control rods
The primary temperature-control device in the reactor — lowering them cools the core, raising them heats it.
Relief valves (RVs)
Emergency valves that rapidly drop reactor temperature; all four can be opened at the same time for a combined effect of roughly 300 K per cycle.
SCRAM
An emergency reactor shutdown performed to stop an explosion; succeeding earns the SCRAM Qualification badge.
RCV-1
The defending team's most powerful vehicle, an IFV that goes down after three anti-tank hits and has a 7-minute-30-second respawn cooldown.
Power orders
Tasks assigned during a shift that are the main source of XP for all facility staff.
Plant Director
The top rank a DOE player can reach by accumulating enough experience.

Common questions

FAQ

What is the single most dangerous mistake a nuclear technician can make?

Turning off the feedwater valve is the most critical error — it must stay open at all times. Shutting off the coolant pumps is equally dangerous, and if that happens you need to lower the control rods right away and radio plant maintenance.

What control rod setting should I use?

When fuel is at 75% or above, set the rods to 55% — that is the most stable position. If fuel drops below 75%, you can lower the rods all the way to 100% and turn off coolants, or drop them to 36% or below, though you will still need some cooling support at that setting.

Can I play without spending Robux?

Yes — operating the reactor and defending the facility are fully available to free players. On the attacking side, three of the four raider teams require a paid gamepass, so your choices are narrower without spending anything.

How do I become Plant Director?

Plant Director is a rank you reach by accumulating enough experience points.

When should I use the relief valves?

Only use relief valves during a genuine temperature emergency — for example, if coolant pumps have failed or temperature is spiking out of control. Opening all four at once gives the maximum cooling effect. During a calm, stable shift with feedwater working normally, leave them closed.
