What you are doing in this game

Summary
In short Survival and exploration are the two things this game asks of you at the same time.

You start inside the facility with one clear pressure: a giant snake is somewhere in the building and it is coming. While you keep moving to stay ahead of it, your actual goal is to find the other SCPs concealed in less obvious parts of the facility. Up to 20 players can be in the same session, so you are rarely alone.

  • Goal find the SCPs hidden throughout the facility
  • Main threat the giant SCP Snake moving through the corridors
  • Session size up to 20 players in one room

Staying ahead of the snake

Tips
In short The facility's branching corridors are your best tool against the snake — use them deliberately.

The snake moves through the facility continuously, so your escape options depend on how well you know the nearby passages. Getting caught does not end your run; you respawn and can keep exploring right away, so panic is never worth it.

Tips worth knowing
  • If the snake appears, turn into a side passage rather than running straight ahead
  • Deeper rooms have more hidden angles and work well as temporary shelter
  • Wait for the snake to pass before continuing rather than rushing into its path
  • After being caught, take a breath before moving again — you respawn with no penalty

Finding hidden SCPs

Check
In short Hidden SCPs are placed off the main path, so thoroughness matters more than speed.

The SCPs are not sitting in plain sight along the main corridors. They are tucked into the parts of the facility that most players walk past without a second look. Revisiting areas you have already been through is a reliable way to catch anything you missed the first time.

  • Check unlit corners and the backs of rooms, not just the centre
  • Follow narrow side passages all the way to their end before moving on
04

When you feel stuck

Warn
In short Repeated encounters with the snake in the same spot mean your route needs to change.

Getting caught in the same place multiple times is a sign that the snake is patrolling that corridor regularly. Switching to a different route through the facility is more effective than trying to time the same run again. If you feel like you have seen everything, the hidden SCPs are almost certainly in a dimly lit or narrow space you passed quickly.

Worth watching out for
If the snake catches you in the same corridor twice, try a completely different path through the facility
Check every branching corridor at least once before concluding an area is clear
