Getting started in a server

Step

In short Each server holds up to 24 players, so you and your friends can join the same one and roleplay together.

When you join, you choose one of the Aqua Animation characters to play as. From there you set your face, pick an animation from the library of over 50, and add music if you want it. Each server holds up to 24 players, so you and your friends can join the same one and roleplay together.

Using animations and faces well

Tips

In short Switching animations and faces mid-scene is the main way to keep a story feeling alive.

The game's animation library gives you a lot of room to express what your character is doing at any moment. The face changer works the same way — swapping a face mid-scene can signal a mood shift without any words. A recent update added Page 2 to the face changer along with more than ten new faces, so it is worth browsing both pages. Two animations — Huge Knockback and Hit Back on Shoulder — were also reworked in the same update, so try them out if you used them before.

Server rules you need to know

Warn

In short Breaking the server rules can get you kicked or banned, so keep them in mind before you type anything to an admin.

There are a small number of hard rules in this game, and the consequences for breaking them are immediate. Private servers do come with admin commands, but those commands belong only to the owner of that private server — not to anyone else in it.

Worth watching out for

Never ask an admin for animations, characters, or anything else doing so can get you kicked or banned.

Do not expect to use admin commands in a private server unless you are the one who owns it.

If the game shuts down while you are playing, it means an update is in progress just wait for it to reopen.

Limited-time event items

Check

In short Event items are only available during their specific windows, and once the window closes you cannot get them.

The game has run seasonal events that hand out exclusive items and animations. Some are tied to exact dates, so missing the window means missing the reward permanently. The April Fools event is the one currently tied to a recurring annual window.

April Fools Giver (April 1–3) talk to this NPC during the window to receive a special animation.
Halloween 2024 (October 31, 2024) awarded special Halloween-themed shades; no longer obtainable.
Christmas 2023 live event awarded an animation for attending; no longer obtainable.
Christmas 2024 Memory Event required defeating JJ and his crew to earn JJ's Bat; no longer obtainable.
Halloween 2025 required acquiring the Grim Reaper's scythe when he was summoned; no longer obtainable.

Glossary

Animation: A movement your character performs, chosen from a library of over 50 options inside the game.
Face changer: An in-game tool that lets you swap your character's face from multiple pages of options.
Roleplay: Playing as your chosen character and acting out a story with other players in the server.
Private server: A server that comes with admin commands, but those commands are available only to the player who owns it.
Rework: An update that redesigns something already in the game, such as a map area or an existing animation.

FAQ

Can I play with friends?

Yes — join the same server and you can roleplay together. Each server fits up to 24 players at once.

Why did the game suddenly shut down while I was playing?

A shutdown means an update is being pushed to the game. Wait a short while and then rejoin once it reopens.

Can I still get the Halloween or Christmas event items?

The Halloween 2024, Christmas 2023, Christmas 2024, and Halloween 2025 event badges and items are no longer obtainable. The April Fools animation is only available April 1–3.
