Getting started in Realm 1

Step
In short Work through Realm 1's levels in order — each one you finish unlocks the next.

The game opens with a prologue cutscene showing Brutus kidnapping Princess Cherry and invading the Gnome Kingdom. After that you drop straight into Level 1-1. Every level you clear unlocks the one after it, so there is no skipping ahead. All content through the end of Realm 1 is available to play right now.

  1. Watch the prologue it sets up why you are fighting and who you are trying to save.
  2. Start Level 1-1 this is where you meet the first enemies, Angos and a Minion, and learn the Bunny Berry powerup.
  3. Clear Level 1-1 finishing it unlocks Level 1-2, and so on through the realm.
  4. Aim for Level 1-4 that is where the Lava Monster boss waits.
  5. Push through to Level 1-☠️ that is the final level of Realm 1 and the home of The Chemist boss.

Dealing with regular enemies

Tips
In short Most enemies move predictably, so once you read their pattern they are easy to handle.

Angos are the most common enemy in the game and also its mascot. They walk back and forth in a fixed area, making their movement easy to predict. Variants like Balloon Angos and Electric Angos look different from standard Angos, so you will know when you are dealing with something other than the basic type.

Tips worth knowing
  • Jump on an Ango's head to defeat it — that is the standard way to take them out.
  • Watch for color and accessory differences on Angos, since there are variants including Balloon Angos and Electric Angos.
  • Hit '!' blocks whenever you see them — they contain powerups like the Power Berry and the Bunny Berry.
03

Lava Monster boss battle (Level 1-4)

Warn
In short Jump on the Lava Monster's head whenever it stops to roar — that is the fastest way to end the fight.

The Lava Monster has 6 hit points. A jump on its head deals 2 damage, while a sword strike deals only 1. It moves side-to-side across the screen and uses three attacks. Learning which attack it is doing tells you whether to run or to attack.

Worth watching out for
When the boss Roars, it stops completely this is your best opening to land a head jump for 2 damage.
When it does a Meteor Strike, two meteors come down at targeted points on the battlefield move away from where they are heading.
When it Slams, it leaps to the other side of the screen and creates an explosion on landing stay away from its landing spot.
04

Diamond locations in Level 1-1

Check
In short All three diamonds in Level 1-1 require a bit of exploration, and the second one needs a wall jump to escape.

Every level contains hidden diamonds, and collecting every diamond across every level — combined with finishing every level — earns the Completionist badge. Level 1-1 has three diamonds to find.

  • Diamond 1 appears just after the first checkpoint, floating above a set of bricks.
  • Diamond 2 after Diamond 1, climb the hill and drop into the hole at the top. The diamond is immediately to your left at the bottom. Use wall jumping to get back out.
  • Diamond 3 near the end of the level, before you reach the Minion. Climb the stack of bricks and '!' blocks to reach it.
05

The Chemist boss battle (Level 1-☠️)

Warn
In short The Chemist only has 3 hit points, but his poison gas and laser keep the arena dangerous.

The Chemist is the final boss of Realm 1 and moves quickly across the screen. Both a head jump and a sword strike deal 1 damage each, so you need to land three hits total. He uses three attacks, two of which create hazards that linger or explode.

Worth watching out for
When he Jumps to the other side, he is evading the player.
His Potion Attack drops poisonous gas on the ground that stays active for 10 seconds treat those patches as walls you cannot walk through.
His Laser Attack sends him off the battlefield before firing a shot that causes a large explosion back away from the impact point until the blast clears.
06

What happens after Realm 1

Summary
In short Beating The Chemist wraps up Realm 1 but opens up post-game story content back in Cherry Palace.

Finishing Level 1-☠️ does not end everything. The Chemist joins the Gnome Kingdom after his defeat and heads to Fusion Lab to develop new technology. Cherry Palace becomes accessible again, and a mysterious figure named Wyatt appears there — he turns out to be The Chemist's counterpart from a parallel universe.

  • The Chemist post-game moves to Fusion Lab and works on technology for the Gnome Kingdom.
  • Wyatt appears in Cherry Palace after the Realm 1 ending; he is The Chemist's parallel-universe double.
  • Gnomeus freed when the Lava Monster is beaten, then reopens Cherry Palace.
