About

Overview

Project: RUSHER is a horizontal rhythm game on Roblox where you destroy circles flying across the screen by hitting them in time with the music. Any input device works — keyboard, mouse, whatever feels natural — because what the game judges is your timing, not which button you press. This guide walks you through starting out, improving your accuracy, climbing the Rating system, and working through the game's song packs.

How scoring and judgements work

Summary
In short Every grade above a basic clear is about tightening your timing.

Project: RUSHER's scoring system draws from Arcaea and Chunithm. There are three meaningful outcomes to aim for beyond a standard clear. The game also tracks misses separately, so a clean run with no dropped circles is its own goal.

0 MISS clear any song without dropping a single circle
ALL PERFECT (100%) every single hit lands with perfect timing
101% a grade above ALL PERFECT, the highest performance tier in the game
03

Climbing the Rating system

Check
In short Rating rises as you play better across songs, and six badge milestones give you clear short-term targets to chase.

Rating is your overall performance score, and the game marks progress at six thresholds. Each milestone comes with its own badge.

  • Reach Rating 500.
  • Reach Rating 1000.
  • Reach Rating 1500.
  • Reach Rating 2000.
  • Reach Rating 2500.
  • Reach Rating 3000.

Song packs and the Volume 1 boss

Tips
In short Clearing each pack earns a dedicated badge, and unlocking the Volume 1 boss song is an advanced goal the game sets.

Three song packs each reward a badge when you clear every track inside them. Beyond the packs, there is a separate advanced goal: unlock the boss song for Volume 1, called GUILT, which earns the badge of the same name.

Tips worth knowing
  • Clear every song in the BrawlR pack to earn the BrawlR badge.
  • Clear every song in the Into The Abyss pack to earn the I.T.A badge.
  • Clear every song in the RoBeats! pack to earn the RoBeats! badge.
  • Unlock the GUILT boss song for Volume 1 to earn the GUILT badge.

Common questions

FAQ

Does it matter which input device I use?

No — the game accepts any input as a hit. Keyboard, mouse, and anything else are all treated equally. What matters is when you press, not what you press.

How do I unlock the GUILT boss song?

GUILT is the Volume 1 boss song and is something you unlock rather than select from the start.
