About

Overview

Slayers 2 is an action RPG inspired by Demon Slayer, where you take on quests, level up your gear, and fight increasingly tough enemies. You can follow the Demon Slayer path using Breathing techniques or become a demon and use Blood Demon Art — each side plays differently. This guide walks you through your first steps in Windy Peak, skill points, Breathing, the Final Selection, and the demon route.

Getting started in Windy Peak

Step
In short Buying a sword, collecting the five lost pages, and chaining quests correctly will get you out of the starting village fast.

Windy Peak is where everything begins. Your first three jobs are buying a sword from Rays, picking up the lost pages quest from Kona, and delivering items to the right NPCs in the right order. Skipping a delivery step can lock you out of later quests even if your level is high enough. Once you have the Guide Book, navigation becomes much easier.

  1. Buy a sword visit Rays's sword shop; the Regular Katana costs 500 Wen and the Fancy Katana costs 1,500 Wen.
  2. Accept the pages quest talk to Kona to start Recover the Lost Pages, then hunt down all five within the village.
  3. Equip and use your sword equipping it is not enough; you have to fight with it to build sword mastery.
  4. Complete Kazu's delivery take the memo you earn from Kazu's quest to Noote. Skipping this step keeps Chaka's quest locked.
  5. Grind Crew bandits repeat the quest to kill three Crew bandits until you reach around level 7, then move on to Zuko's quests.

Locations of the five lost pages

Check
In short Learning where all five pages sit before you start searching lets you grab them in a single loop.

All five pages are hidden inside Windy Peak village. You can collect them in any order. A few are tucked beside buildings or objects rather than sitting in open ground, so check around corners and along walls. Return to Kona once you have all five to confirm you receive the Guide Book.

  • Near the gate check the ground close to the village entrance.
  • By the large tree follow the wall to the left when facing inward from the gate.
  • Beside a house look along the edge where the grass meets the path near the gate-side house.
  • Near the barrels search around the three stacked barrels in front of the large village building.
  • By the stone wall check near the slope leading up toward the woman cooking meat.

Spending skill points

Tips
In short Unlocking movement skills first prevents you from getting stuck trying to reach high ledges and masters.

Press M on PC to open the skill tree. Each level-up gives you three points. Some masters and areas sit on high ground you cannot reach without the right skills.

Tips worth knowing
  • Unlock wall climbing and double jump before anything else so you can reach elevated areas.
  • If enemies are dropping you in a few hits, check your health and defense.
  • Reserve enough points to unlock the Breathing techniques you plan to use.
04

Learning a Breathing style

Step
In short Reaching a master is only the beginning — you still need to complete training tasks and then spend skill points to unlock individual techniques.

Breathing styles become available starting at level 25, but they do not unlock automatically when you hit that level. You need to meet the level requirement, gather enough Wen, and collect the required materials before a master will train you. Water Breathing, for example, requires level 25, 5,000 Wen, and 30 Demon Horns. The Water Breathing master is in a hidden spot reached by passing through a waterway near a small island close to Bamboo Grove. Arriving at the master is not the finish line — check the training tasks and work through them.

  1. Prepare before you travel confirm you have the required level, Wen, and materials so you are not turned away at the master's location.
  2. Know who is who the master who starts your training and the student you fight during training are different characters.
  3. Build mastery through use your overall character level and your Breathing mastery are tracked separately. Use the style in actual combat to raise its mastery.
  4. Spend points after learning open the skill tree once you have learned the style and assign points to the specific techniques you want.
05

Farming Demon Horns

Tips
In short Check your inventory count rather than counting kills, because Demon Horns do not drop every single time.

Demon Horns are a key material for Breathing training and are dropped by certain enemies. The cave in Bamboo Grove is an accessible early farming spot, with Hoyuzo's subordinates near the entrance and Hoyuzo himself deeper inside. To find the cave, travel east from Windy Peak along the cliffs, pass through the short corridor with the red torii gate, continue right along the cliff, and head toward the small waterfall above the lake below.

Tips worth knowing
  • Track progress by checking your inventory, not by counting kills — the drop is not guaranteed every time.
  • Test yourself against Hoyuzo's subordinates first; if they are too tough, raise your level and gear before going deeper.
  • Each Breathing style has its own material requirements, so do not assume every style costs the same resources.

Clearing the Final Selection

Step
In short Defeating Hand Demon is not the last step — you must report back to the twin guides to receive your uniform and crow.

The Final Selection opens at level 45. The venue is on the western side of the map, past Butterfly Estate. Inside, you follow the twin guides' quests in order, then speak to Steve before the Hand Demon fight. Hand Demon calls in additional enemies during the battle, and hitting Hand Demon while those enemies are still alive does nothing. Clear the summoned enemies first, then turn your attention to the boss.

  1. Check your entry confirm you are at least level 45, watch the entrance countdown, and know where to wait.
  2. Talk to Steve have that conversation before the Hand Demon fight begins, not after.
  3. Kill the summoned enemies first damage to Hand Demon does not register while called enemies are still standing.
  4. Report to the twins after Hand Demon goes down, return to the first twin guides and follow through until you confirm you have received the uniform and the crow.

Taking the demon route

Warn
In short Turning into a demon is only the start — watch your health in sunlight and keep progressing to unlock demon abilities.

To become a demon, lower your reputation to negative 40 by doing things like defeating civilian NPCs, then search for Muzan at night. Muzan appears in places like Mistfall Harbor but cannot be found during the day. His quests ask you to collect nine Spider Lilies and escort Dr. Higoshima to a designated location. During the escort, pursuers will appear — focus on reaching the destination rather than stopping to fight everyone. Using Muzan's Blood that you earn by completing the tasks is what actually makes you a demon.

Worth watching out for
Muzan only appears at night, so do not waste time searching for him during the day.
During the doctor escort, keep moving toward the goal.
After you become a demon, sunlight deals damage to you. If your health starts dropping outdoors, move into shade immediately.
Becoming a demon does not finish the demon path continue progressing to learn demon abilities.

Common questions

FAQ

Why can't I unlock Chaka's quest even though my level is high enough?

Chaka's quest requires you to have already delivered Kazu's memo to Noote. Leveling up does not count as completing that delivery step. Go back and confirm the handoff is done.

Can I redo my skill points if I made a mistake?

Yes — buy Reset Skill Points from the shop to get your spent points back. The purchase requires either the material called Oa or Robux.

Do titles just change how my name looks?

No — titles also provide ability bonuses, and you can equip up to three at once. For example, the title Odd-Jobber, earned by completing 25 quests, is tied to quest experience. Open the titles screen to see what each one does and which are currently equipped.

Where do I enter redeem codes?

Codes are entered through the in-game menu. Most codes expire and can only be used once per account.
