Destruction Simulator Guide: Getting started at spawn
About
OverviewDestruction Simulator is a physics-based Roblox game where you blow up structures using rockets and bombs, collect coins from the rubble, and use those coins to buy more powerful weapons and bigger backpacks. This guide covers how to get started, how to farm coins efficiently, how each area works, and how the backpack and weapon systems tie together.

Getting started at spawn
StepWhen you join the game you already have a Grenade and the Small Bag, which holds 25 bricks. The shop and the sell area are both close to spawn, so everything you need is within easy reach from the start. Head to the Race Track first — it is open at level 0.
- Check your bag you start with the free Small Bag (25-brick capacity) and the free Grenade.
- Go to the Race Track blast a hole in one of the stands, step inside, and drop your bomb to destroy the nearby cars.
- Return to spawn walk to the Sell area and cash in your bricks for coins.
- Visit the Shop buy the Dynamite (30 coins) as soon as you can; its explosion is twice as large as the Grenade's.
- Upgrade your backpack once you have 30 coins spare, grab the Medium Bag (75-brick capacity) so you make fewer sell trips.

How coins, bricks, and backpacks work together
SummaryEvery brick you blow off a structure goes into your backpack. When the bag is full you must sell before you can collect more. Selling converts each stored brick into one coin — or two coins if you are Rank 2 or above, or if you own the VIP + x2 Coins gamepass.
- Bricks the raw material you pick up by destroying structures.
- Coins the only in-game currency; one brick sells for one coin by default.
- x2 multiplier active automatically at Rank 2 or higher, or with the relevant gamepass.
- Robux shortcut coins can also be purchased directly (100,000 coins for 150 Robux, 1,000,000 for 600 Robux, 5,000,000 for 1,400 Robux).
Area unlock order and what to target in each
TipsAreas unlock as your XP level rises from 0 to 55. Every area rebuilds itself after enough of it is demolished, so you can keep farming the same spot indefinitely.
- Race Track (level 0) — farm by blasting a hole in a stand, placing your bomb inside, and looping that until you level up.
- Construction Site (level 5) — blow a hole in the side of a shipping container and place a bomb inside; containers pay out a large number of bricks.
- Farm (level 10) — unlocks early and bridges the gap between Construction Site and Classic.
- Classic (level 15) — shoot the centre of the castle tower for roughly 200 bricks per power-100 rocket hit, or target the middle of a large house wall for around 150 bricks.
- Ship Yard (level 20) — make a hole in the ship's hull big enough to enter, then place a bomb at the stern; also blow up the three containers for extra bricks.
- Volcano (level 50) — the central volcano is the largest single model in the game, so blast a hole in its side and use the most powerful bomb you own.
Backpack upgrades — storage and cost

Choosing the right bomb
TipsBombs are placed on a structure and detonated, making them precise tools for targeting a specific spot — useful for getting inside containers or the hull of a ship. The explosion multiplier on each bomb tells you how much bigger the blast is compared to the base Grenade. Higher-rank areas like the Volcano call for the most powerful options: the Huge Nuke, Classic Nuke, Nuclear Reactor, or Black Hole Bomb.
- Start with the free Grenade (x10 explosion) and upgrade to Dynamite (x20, 30 coins) as your first purchase.
- For the Volcano, players commonly use the Huge Nuke (x15,000), Nuclear Reactor (x30,000), or Black Hole Bomb (x100,000).
Ranking up after level 55
SummaryLevel 55 is the current XP cap. When you hit it you can choose to Rank Up, which resets your levels and coins but permanently doubles what you earn from selling bricks. Higher ranks also unlock special areas: the Emoji Area, Giant Character Area, Video Game Area, and Rubik's Cube Area each require a specific rank to enter.
- Rank Up trigger available once you reach level 55.
- Reset cost your level and coins go back to zero.
- Permanent reward all future brick sales pay out at double the normal rate.
- Rank-gated areas Emoji Area at Rank 2, Giant Character Area at Rank 3, Video Game Area at Rank 4, Rubik's Cube Area at Rank 5.
Codes and where they come from
TipsThe developer posts codes on Twitter (@silky_dev) and Instagram (silkygames). Redeem them in the Codes tab inside the game. Codes expire on a fixed date, and expired codes give no reward.
- Past codes have given rewards like five free levels or 24–48 hours of x2 XP boost.
- Follow @silky_dev on Twitter or silkygames on Instagram to catch new codes before they expire.
Glossary
Glossary- XP
- Experience points earned by destroying structures; accumulating enough XP raises your level and unlocks new areas.
- Coins
- The only in-game currency, earned by selling the bricks stored in your backpack and used to buy weapons and backpacks.
- Bricks
- The raw material collected when you blow up a structure; they fill your backpack and are converted to coins at the sell area.
- Backpack
- The item that determines how many bricks you can carry before you must make a sell run.
- Rank
- A prestige tier unlocked by reaching level 55; ranking up resets your progress but doubles your coin earnings permanently.
- Rank Up
- The action of resetting to level 0 after hitting the level 55 cap in exchange for doubled sell income going forward.
- Explosion multiplier
- The number attached to each bomb (for example x150 for C4) that shows how much more powerful it is compared to the base Grenade.
- Area
- A destructible structure on the map, also called a zone or map, that rebuilds itself after being sufficiently demolished.
Common questions
FAQWhy does the game feel slow or choppy after a big explosion?
Large physics explosions put a heavy load on your device, and the game itself notes this as expected behaviour.
Is there a point to playing after level 55?
Yes — ranking up at level 55 permanently doubles every coin you earn from selling bricks, and each new rank unlocks an exclusive area. There are five ranks in total, so reaching level 55 multiple times is the long-term goal for most players.
Can I enjoy the game without spending Robux?
All areas from the Race Track through the Volcano are unlocked through XP alone, and every weapon and backpack up to the Large Vault can be bought with in-game coins. Robux purchases offer shortcuts (direct coin purchases, the Infinite Storage backpack, some powerful bombs).
