Getting into the game
CheckDa Hood locks out new accounts, so there is a waiting period before you can play at all. Once you are in, the server places you on a side automatically — criminal or cop. The two sides play very differently, so knowing what each one does before you start saves a lot of confusion.
- Your Roblox account must be at least ten days old to enter a server
- The game assigns your side when you join
- Criminals earn money by robbing banks and shops; cops earn money by arresting criminals and through a salary paid every ten minutes
- Cops start with access to discounted tasers and glocks at the police station
Playing as a criminal
StepThe criminal loop is straightforward: raid a location, escape before the cops arrive, and use your earnings to buy better gear. Wanted level climbs as you pull off successful jobs.
- Ransack banks and shops to gain cash and wanted level
- Escape before cops can cuff your downed body
- Buy guns and ammo with your earnings
- Put money into the gym to raise your muscle level
Playing as a cop
StepJoining up is simple, but staying on the force takes discipline. You earn half of a criminal's bounty when you arrest them — for example, a criminal carrying 3,000 bounty pays you 1,500. The water bucket lets you wipe crew graffiti around the map for a small bonus on top of that.
- Head to the police station talk to the NPC to the right of the entrance to sign up
- Watch for crimes like stomping or ATM robbery
- Get a criminal to the ground before attempting an arrest
- Click the downed body with your cuffs tool; the criminal must have bounty for this to work
- You receive fifty percent of their bounty as your reward
- Clean graffiti around the map with the water bucket for a small reward
Fighting cops when you are a criminal
TipsThat makes group fights your best option. If you have to go solo, close-range pressure is your friend because tasers are hard to land on someone who keeps jumping.
- Team up with other players — cops rarely work in groups, so numbers win fast
- Rush close with a shotgun and keep jumping to make taser shots harder to land
- If you have armor, a single rifle hit will not slow you down enough to stop you fighting back
- Clear your bounty by getting arrested or stomped, then return — a cop cannot cuff you when your bounty is zero
- High muscle level lets you absorb a hit without getting slowed to low-HP movement speed
Weaving in fist fights
TipsWeaving is an important skill in hand-to-hand combat. You time the weave button to when an opponent's hit is about to connect. A successful weave leaves them briefly unable to act, which is your window to chain several hits together.
- Time the weave button to the last moment before the enemy's strike lands
- A clean weave stuns the opponent — follow up immediately with as many hits as you can chain
- Blocking at the right moment can give you a full weave
- Muscle level raises your attack power, so time in the gym directly improves how hard those follow-up hits land
The muscle system
TipsThe gym lets you raise your character's muscle level by purchasing weights. Higher muscle means stronger attacks in fist fights and the ability to absorb punishment that would slow a weaker character down. Eating lettuce reduces muscle if you ever need to lower it.
- Buy weights at the fitness location to raise your muscle level
- Higher muscle makes your melee hits deal more damage
- Enough muscle lets you take a heavy hit without being slowed by low HP
- Eat lettuce to reduce your muscle level
Managing guns
WarnEvery gun you own can vanish permanently under three conditions: you die while holding it, you log out while knocked out, or the ammo count reaches zero. This means expensive weapons carry real risk. The rifle costs $1,597 and its ammo runs $258 for just five bullets, so one bad fight can wipe out a large chunk of cash.
The rifle — high risk, high payoff
TableThe rifle sits in a hidden shop: go to the tunnel connecting to the entrance behind Downhill Gunz, then look under the carpet behind some crates beneath the hair salon. It holds only one bullet per chamber, but a direct hit takes most players down to 1 HP. A headshot knocks most opponents out immediately. The rifle also strips enemy armor efficiently, making follow-up damage go straight through.
| Range | outclasses nearly every other weapon at long distance |
| One-shot potential | drops most unarmored players to 1 HP on a body hit |
| Headshot | knocks most opponents down instantly |
| Armor shredding | breaks enemy armor so follow-up shots deal full damage |
| Ammo cost | $258 for five bullets |

Common questions
FAQCan I play without spending Robux?
Cash from robberies funds both your weapons and your gym training, and the muscle system can be developed without any real-money purchases.
Why do I keep losing my guns?
Guns disappear permanently if you die while holding them, log out while knocked out, or run out of ammo. Carry a second weapon as a backup, and keep your ammo stocked.
How do I get started as a cop?
Go to the police station and talk to the NPC to the right of the entrance. You need a bounty of zero to join. You will receive cuffs and a water bucket. If you stomp a player who is not in cuffs, you will be removed from the cop team.
