About

How a round works
StepWhen a map starts, the flood begins rising immediately. You need to reach buttons scattered around the map, press them to open paths, and then reach the exit safe zone before drowning. Maps have both regular buttons and group buttons. Earning experience and coins depends on surviving — drowning ends your run.
- Head for buttons first pressing them opens routes you cannot reach otherwise.
- Watch for group buttons these need teammates nearby, so do not rush past them alone.
- Reach the safe zone only players who make it there earn experience and currency for that round.
Six difficulty levels and where to start
TipsMaps are sorted into six difficulty tiers. The server's Intensity level shifts up or down based on how many players survived the previous map, so the difficulty you face can change between rounds. All maps are free to play — no purchase unlocks access to a difficulty.

- Normal
- Hard

Movement skills you need to practice
TipsFlood Escape 2 uses several movement abilities beyond basic jumping. The game lists swimming, sliding, diving, wall-jumping, and ziplining as core abilities. Different maps demand different combinations of these.
- Wall-jumping — jump toward a wall, then jump again off it to the opposite wall; repeat to climb narrow shafts.
- Diving — use it to cover distances a normal jump cannot reach.
- Sliding — building momentum with a slide can extend your jump distance.
- Ziplining — move with the zipline's speed.
- Swimming — when you are already in water you have not drowned yet, swimming quickly still gives you a short window to escape.
Co-op teamwork in practice
CheckEasy maps can be cleared solo, but Normal difficulty and above are designed around multiple players splitting button duties.
- Decide before the round who covers which buttons do not leave group buttons for whoever gets there last.
- Check that no one is lagging badly a delayed button press affects the whole team.
Badges worth targeting early
TipsThere are hundreds of badges in Flood Escape 2. Some track map completions by difficulty, while others count actions like pressing buttons, surviving maps, or logging in on consecutive days. Checking the Goals menu shows your progress on the official badges, though community map badges do not appear there.
- Your First Map and the 10/100/1000 Maps badges unlock as you keep playing.
- The button-press badges (10, 100, 1000, 2000) fill in as every map has multiple buttons.
- Daily challenges each give a badge milestone at 10, 50, and 300 completions.
- Login streak badges require consecutive days: 2, 7, 14, 21, and 31 days in a row.
- Rebirth badges are awarded at x1, x2, x5, x10, and x15.
- The Mirror Madness badge requires finishing a Crazy map in Mirror Mode.
Lost Pages and Pro Servers
SummaryTwo features that go unnoticed by newer players are Lost Pages and Pro Servers. Collecting 15 Lost Pages earns a dedicated badge. Joining a Pro Server for the first time earns the Certified Pro badge.
Redeem codes
TipsCodes are entered in the Codes section inside the Shop. They are case-sensitive, so match every capital and lowercase letter exactly.
- Open the Shop and find the Codes section to enter a code.
- Type every character exactly as shown — a wrong capital letter makes the code fail.
- Codes can reward Coins, Gems, XP, or cosmetic items.
- Codes expire at any time.

Common questions
FAQCan I play solo, or do I need a team?
Easy maps can be cleared solo. Normal difficulty and above include group buttons that require more than one player.
How does the map difficulty change between rounds?
The server tracks an Intensity value that rises when more players survive and falls when fewer do.
Do I need to spend Robux to access all the maps?
No — every map in the game is free to play. The gamepasses sold in the shop are all cosmetic.
Why do codes stop working?
The developers can expire a code at any time without notice. Codes are also case-sensitive, so a mistyped capital letter will make a still-active code appear broken.
How do I earn Coins and Gems without buying them?
Surviving maps rewards you with experience and currency. Redeeming active codes in the Shop also gives Coins, Gems, and XP.
