About

Overview

No Mercy: The Gameshow is a fast-paced multiplayer platformer where you survive round after round of deadly obstacles for a crowd that wants to watch you fail. Each round gets harder than the last, and falling off the stage means death. This guide covers how to survive stages, earn REP, handle the two enemy characters, and chase the trickier badges.

01

Core rules before your first round

Check
In short Staying on the platform is the only rule that matters — everything else builds from there.

The moment a round starts, obstacles are already moving. Your one job is not to fall into the void below the stage. Every round you survive makes the next one harder.

  • Set your graphics level to 5 or higher before playing the game recommends it.
  • Join the developer group to collect a free 250 REP.
  • Spend REP in the customisation and skills menus skills can directly help you last longer.
  • Check the in-game roadmap for upcoming updates, since this is an early access release and content is still being added.

02

Surviving stages and building your total

Step
In short Milestone badges reward survival totals from 1 stage all the way to 500, so every run counts toward something.

Stage survival is the backbone of your progression. Individual milestones unlock at stages 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 within a single run, while your lifetime total unlocks separate badges at 10, 100, and 500 stages survived.

  1. Survive your first stage this is your opening goal and unlocks the first survival badge.
  2. Reach stage 5 in a single run.
  3. Push to stage 10 in a single run the game explicitly calls this the point where you lock in.
  4. Aim for stage 15, then 20, then 25 if you want the rarer per-run milestone badges; stage 25 is described as something very few players reach.
  5. Let your lifetime total climb across many sessions 10, 100, and 500 stages survived each unlock their own badge.
03

Boxing Dummy and Shadow — what each one does to you

Table
In short Each enemy has its own behaviour and its own set of badge rewards tied to specific interactions with it.

Two enemy characters appear across stages. Boxing Dummy attacks with punches and can carry a special modifier. Shadow can move through you and fall into the void.

Boxing Dummylands direct punch attacks; surviving one earns the DETERMINATION!! Face reward.
Boxing Dummy (World Champion modifier)clearing a stage with this modifier active rewards the Boxxer Watch.
Boxing Dummy (floating glitch)if the platform beneath it disappears while it is still floating, that earns the Dum .E. Coyote badge.
Shadowcan be knocked into the void; the first time earns a badge, and doing it five times in a single stage earns a harder one.
Shadow (integration)if Shadow overlaps with you five times in a single stage, that unlocks the When Nothing meets something badge.
04

Tricky one-off badges worth attempting

Tips
In short A handful of badges require unusual behaviour rather than just surviving, and some reward you for doing something that looks like a mistake.

These are deliberate challenges with unusual conditions.

Tips worth knowing
  • Clear stage 1 without moving at all to earn the Showoff badge.
  • Get hit by a Bounce laser within 10 seconds of a stage starting to earn the Durr face cosmetic reward.
  • Intentionally walk into Boxing Dummy's punch and survive it to earn the DETERMINATION!! Face.
  • Let Shadow overlap with you five times inside one stage for the When Nothing meets something badge.
  • Send Shadow into the void five times in a single stage for the SHADOW DNI badge.
05

Dying on purpose — the death badge track

Summary
In short Falling off is never wasted progress, because deaths accumulate toward their own badge track the same way survival stages do.

The game tracks how many times you have died across your entire playtime. Milestones unlock at 10, 100, and 250 deaths.

  • First death unlocks your first death badge the moment it happens.
  • 10 deaths next milestone on the track.
  • 100 deaths reward listed as coming in a future update.
  • 250 deaths the highest published death milestone; reward also listed as coming later.
