Four game modes and how they work

Table
In short Kill Confirmed rewards the most XP when played correctly, while Team Deathmatch rewards the least.

Every match runs for ten minutes with two teams of up to seven players each. Between matches the server votes on which mode and map to play next.

Team Deathmatchkill enemies to earn points; only kills and assists generate XP
King of the Hillcapture a floating zone to score 2 points per second; the zone moves each time it changes hands
Dominationhold any of three fixed points labeled A, B, and C for 2 points per second each, up to 6 per second total
Kill Confirmedkill enemies, collect their red dog-tags, and deposit them at a drop point for 100 XP each; blue tags from your own team deny the enemy but give no XP

Earning XP and leveling up fast

Step
In short Kill Confirmed with active dog-tag collection is the single fastest way to gain XP.

XP drives your level, and every level-up rewards 200 Credits. The formula for each rank is simple: multiply your next level number by 1,000 to find the XP needed. After level 70 you can no longer earn Credits through leveling, only through Robux purchases.

  1. Play Kill Confirmed each deposited red dog-tag gives 100 XP on top of the 100 XP you get for the kill itself
  2. Aim for headshots a headshot kill pays 150 XP instead of the standard 100
  3. Capture objectives taking the hill in King of the Hill gives 200 XP; capping a Domination point gives 100
  4. Steal enemy dog-tags picking up red tags that teammates did not collect still earns you the full 100 XP per tag
  5. Use assists damage you deal before a teammate finishes an enemy still counts as XP equal to the damage done

Map guide and weapon choices

Tips
In short Match your weapon range to the map and you will win more engagements.

There are five maps in the rotation. Each one favors a different playstyle, and picking the wrong weapon type will put you at a constant disadvantage.

Tips worth knowing
  • Cavalcade is the best sniping map — the long open road through the center creates clear sight lines for the AWM or The Fix, and the concrete roadblocks at the far end give you hard cover with your back protected
  • Launch has both open areas and very dark tunnels — carry a mid-to-long-range weapon for the balconies and a flashlight-equipped MP5 or PP2000 for the underground passages
  • Factory is flat and open — a mid- or long-range weapon works here, but stay mobile because enemies can close the distance quickly from multiple directions
  • Canyons rewards mid-range guns like the M4 or EBR — the canyon walkways are too wide for shotguns and too tight for a sniper to operate comfortably
04

Combat Knife — three ways to use it

Step
In short Save the knife throw for finishing a missed sniper shot rather than leading with it.

The Combat Knife is free from the start. It has three distinct inputs that each work differently, so knowing which one to reach for can save a fight.

  1. Quick slash (V on PC) deals 50 damage instantly without fully switching weapons; best used to finish a low-health enemy after your gun empties
  2. Hold out knife (3 on PC, then left-click) lets you slash repeatedly at 50 damage per hit, but requires two hits to kill and demands point-blank range; not recommended as a primary approach
  3. Knife throw (F on PC) deals 100 damage anywhere on the body for a one-hit kill; use it when you miss an AWM or Fix shot at close range and have no time to rechamber, but remember you cannot use the knife again until you respawn
05

Weapon spotlight — AWM and AS VAL

Table
In short The AWM is the highest-damage weapon in the game but punishes missed shots hard, while the AS VAL trades raw power for a faster TTK at mid-range.

Both weapons unlock through leveling or Credits and represent opposite ends of the primary weapon spectrum. Choose based on the map and your playstyle.

AWM unlocklevel 20 or 3,399 Credits; one-shots to the torso or head by default
AWM full one-hit buildequip the L96A1 receiver with a 338 barrel to deal 100 damage regardless of where you hit
AS VAL unlocklevel 35 or 5,899 Credits; full-auto with low recoil and a strong TTK but only 20 rounds in the default magazine
AS VAL weaknessthe reload is long and the magazine runs dry fast; always reload after each fight and slide to cover while waiting
VSS Vintorez optioninstalling the VSSM upper receiver converts the AS VAL into a semi-auto sniper, but damage drops to 27 per shot, making it the weakest sniper in the game
06

Dealing with hackers and poor performance

Check
In short Lower your graphics first for smoother play, then use the votekick system if a player is clearly cheating.

Two things most commonly ruin a session: a low frame rate that makes aiming unreliable, and players using cheats. Both have straightforward fixes.

  • Press Esc and drop graphics quality to 1, 2, or 3 for noticeably smoother gameplay
  • Type /votekick [player name] in chat to start a kick vote against a cheating player three-fifths of the server must agree for the kick to go through
  • Remember that you always appear on the blue team from your own screen, so do not call out team colors when playing with friends
  • Winning a match does not reward XP or Credits only kills, assists, and objective actions do

Calling cards and Credits at a glance

Table
In short Calling cards are cosmetic only and unlock through leveling; Credits are earned the same way and spent on weapons, attachments, and skills.

Calling cards show up in in-match notifications and can be changed in the Barracks menu. All cards below are earned by reaching the listed level except the three bundle cards, which require a Gamepass purchase.

Common questions

FAQ

Why does the AWM sometimes fail to one-hit kill an enemy?

The default AWM only one-shots hits to the torso or head — arm or leg hits deal reduced damage and require a follow-up shot. To make the AWM one-hit kill regardless of where you connect, equip the L96A1 receiver and either of the 338 barrels at the same time.

Can I earn Credits without spending Robux?

Yes — every time you level up you receive 200 Credits automatically. However, once you reach level 70 leveling stops, so Credits after that point require a Robux purchase.

I keep getting killed in the Launch map tunnels. What should I do?

The stone tunnels on Launch get very dark, so equip a flashlight attachment if you plan to push through them. The MP5 with its flashlight handguard or the PP2000 with its flashlight attachment are the only two weapons that can carry one, and both are strong at the close ranges you will face underground.
