Controls to learn before you start
CheckThere are six keys that handle almost everything in Spray Paint. The commands work the same way — type them into chat and they take effect immediately.
- E increases brush size.
- Q decreases brush size.
- R toggles the ruler on and off.
- F toggles the eyedropper.
- G toggles the grid tool.
- /hide and /unhide type these in chat followed by a player's username to show or hide their artwork.
Managing other players' artwork
StepThe two commands below let you control exactly what you see without affecting anyone else's experience.
- Type /hide followed by a player's username in chat their artwork disappears from your screen immediately.
- Type /unhide followed by the same username when you want to see their work again.
- Report rule-breaking artwork through the in-game Mod Call feature rather than just hiding it, since hiding only removes it from your own view.
Sharing art and joining the community
SummaryOnce a piece is finished, you can share it through the game's community server. There are no paywalls on any tool or feature — every brush size, the ruler, the grid, the eyedropper, and community sharing are all available without spending anything. Common questions
FAQHow do I draw a straight line?
Press R to turn on the ruler before you start the stroke. Press R again to turn it off when you want to go back to freehand drawing.
Can I see another player's art again after hiding it?
Yes — type /unhide followed by that player's username in chat and their artwork comes back.
What should I do if someone is drawing inappropriate things?
Use the in-game Mod Call feature to report them. You can also hide their artwork immediately with /hide while the report is handled.
What does the grid tool actually do?
Pressing G overlays a grid across the canvas. Toggle it off with G again when you no longer need it.
